    I found a very nice looking genuine 1940s vintage speaker cabinet for sale on Facebook Marketplace and decided to buy it with a view to turning it into a retro-style amplifier for my cigar box guitars.
    Will it work out?

    9v diy noisy cricket amp easily powers a 12" cab so don't think you'll have a problem. Can get small amp modules off Ebay cheap as chips.
