Beetroot powder is great in a smoothie with strawberries half a banana and 1 lemon a knob of ginger and water. It tastes awesome this way and is easily digestible

Thank you! I totally nerd out over nutrition, so I loved this video. I'm 38 and in the throes of perimenopause. The migraines have been brutal, so I will try the beetroot powder.
I cured my chronic migraines when I went plant-based ten years ago, but perimenopause was an absolute beast bringing back all of the worst things that I experienced before I changed my diet. 🥴

What are your thoughts on black soy beans as far as nutritional potency and help with balancing hormones? Better, not as good, doesn’t matter? Thank you!!!!

Beets are in season around here, and I get them in my To Good To Go boxes weekly, can I use beets over beet root powde, as I have a bit of a budget to keep?
I get them in multiple colors even - and usually they are organic.

Don't worry thyroid peeps....you can eat cruciferous veggies as long as you include IODINE in your diet as well. Check out Dr. Brooke Goldner's scientific explanation of this exact issue on her Goodbye Lupus channels.

I am so confused about soy milk. I am 65 and just started drinking it. But one person says it hinders breast cancer and another person says it causes it? What do you think?

I used to boil organic soy beans to make soy milk without synthetic vitamins but its a lot of work and time to boil and soak dry soy beans. The experience is more wholesome taste and texture than store bought. What about soy estrogen concerns for men's health

@ let me give you a super heartfelt compliment. Life is busy and groceries are expensive. I really adore you for keeping it all realistic and easy to follow. I avoid channels that make items that take 20 ingredients and 20 steps. You….. are one of “us”. 🥰
