Which is your pick? iPhone 15 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? 🤔
Iphone 15 pro max
Definitely 15 pro max
Gonna wait 2 months until stores clear up and get mine🤣
Without any doubt s23 ultra. Iphone is shiy
S23 ultra my favorite all time..❤
Samsung S23 ultra 👍 and iPhone design is really boring same design every year 👎
People are really gettin heated over which phone is better it is hilarious tbh. Both phones are top notch and can serve you for next 5 years without any issues. There are no more major updates if you compare phones every single year. Both phones can do everything you want at top level so comparing them tbh is so pointless. Tbh it all depends on preference if u prefer iOs and apple ecosystem or freedom from Android everything else is literally top on both phones.
This is the most mature comment I have read in a while
Yeah I think these vs videos are becoming pretty pointless.. the main thing is it's personal preference... They are both superior
This time we cannot say that phone can run long time as companies are pushing worst updates that is affecting battery as well performance everyone knows green screen. Software Update is becoming a fear. If companies test the update and then passes it then we all can update.
Both phones cannot do same thing , I use my s23 in dex mode with keyboard mouse while on the screen I have youtube and a video call .. and I take notes on my work with s spen ... so can both phones do the same ?
I got a 13 pro max and I don’t see a reason to buy a 15 . It’s a outstanding device
12:26 A point I would like to add regarding the action button is - we do have customizable side key on S23 Ultra. I have personally set it up to enable torch and double click to bring up my Samsung Wallet. So, it's not entirely correct that S23 Ultra doesn't get an action button. It's been there on Android phones for a long time now. The only difference is, Samsung didn't market it as a "feature".
Right. I'm not sure why he said it's not a feature on the S23 when it's been on Samsung phones for years.
Yes, he should put out a correction.
Saf is an iPhone homer, none of this should surprise you.
@@cedbar738 He also said the S23 Ultra lacks continuous video zoom feature, which is false.
And it was on blackberry as a "convenience key" way back in the mid 2000s. Yet here goes Apple with their new features.
The S23 Ultra is basically a Note 23 Ultra. I just picked it up (upgraded from the Note 20 Ultra). The S23 Ultra's screen is brighter , the processor is lightning quick and the battery last a lot longer than the Note 20 Ultra.
I agree. I've had it since June 2022 and love it.

For me it's about OS. So I'll stick to my s23 ultra. Performance is probably the smoothest I've had on an Android. And I do love the ability to launch right into two apps at once from the side panel. It's something that doesn't get talked about enough. Which means I can web browse below with one hand while a video is playing above. I love it

After using an iPhone for work and a Samsung for personal use for the last four years, I still like Android better. I just feel like I have more control over the phone. And I don't use the S pen a lot, but when I need it, I need it. Very happy with my s23 Ultra.

I completely agree with you both phones are great but ppl want to prove their phone is soo much better especially Samsung fans thinking they’re smarter than everyone bc it has better customization than apple and better zoom but Apple is more efficient and has a better security but ofc Samsung fans call ppl who like Apple sheep and Apple makes fun of them for having green bubbles ppl gotta grow up🤦🏾♂️

There is simply nothing Apple can do to make me leave the s23 ultra. So yea it's pretty much about preference. They both serve their purpose exceptionally well
There is nothing they can do? Even if they provide the best phone? Lol seems like you are illogical person who’s narrow minded and slave to one company

Im gonna get an iphone, but I’m still waiting for them to get rid of the notch. Apparently either the 16 or 17 will get rid of it. Until then they are still perfecting the gaming chip, so my 5 year old phone will do. It does everything i want right now.
Agreed! The problem with these comparisons is they are very basic. It doesn't talk about the 100 or so more features that you get on the Samsung phones. And it's hilarious seeing people pretending like dynamic Island is some innovative feature.

Hey Saf, just wanted to point out an error in the Camera specs on screen. You put the S23 Ultra as having an F1.8 aperture lens, it should be F1.7. I think the F1.7 vs the iPhone's F1.78 should be taken into account if we're comparing the 0.02 difference between the Samsung's 1/1.3 and the iPhone's 1/1.28 sensors.
I'm going with the better looking front first of all. The iPhone has a display with largely rounded corners and the pill. The Galaxy has a nice rectangular full tv like screen, with a punch hole. Next, I'm going with the camera. The superior zoom sealed it for me. S23 for the win. I have the Pixel 7 Pro and I opted for a great camera backed by sweet software at an unbeatable price. I do miss the OS on my OnePlus 10 Pro, not feeling the barebone Android that others seem to praise.
I was a Samsung Note user until I switched to iPhone 12 Pro Max. Although I am getting used to iPhone, I still miss some of the features of Android. I am thinking of getting the S23 Ultra but still yet to decide firmly.
Watching this from my S20FE still happy with this phone !
I am too bro s20fe is better the iphone 12😅....
Same lmao 😂
I just switched from the s20fe to the iPhone 15 pro…. But deeply inside of me i know i made a misstake
For me it's the customisability of the OS and for this simple reason I went with S23 Ultra just last month knowing fully well that iPhone 15 Pro Max is due in a couple of days!!! I've been a loyal iPhone user in the past but I switched to Android once I got a taste of it in 2020!!
I tried to switch too, i bought s23 ultra a week ago, but after 3-4 days of using it i really didn't like it. The display is too colorful, the colors aren't accurate, the camera app have so much lag, the transition from one camera to other is terrible, it's too fast in social media, it's snappy, fast but not smooth, there is a difference! I don't know, i really feel that the iPhones are booring, but at least they work perfectly, while s23 ultra has so much problems. I'm returning it.
Glad you like it tho, i wish that was my case too!
@@tsh9410switching platforms is a commitment. 3/4 days is a sorry effort. If you were expecting the Samsung to be the same as the iPhone, you shouldn’t have wasted your time. 3/4 days is not enough time when you’ve been using the other platform for years.
@tsh9410 same experience for me, switch to Android and I don't really enjoy how things just don't work perfectly, which is what I expect when buying a $2000 phone.

@SuperSaf, the power button on the S23 Ultra can be set up to open any app on the phone, unlike the iPhone's action button, which has a limited number of apps. Android phones have had this for ages.
Both are good phones but I'm with the s23 ultra since I'm more of a android person
S23 ultra is better ! 🎉
Haha sure buddy
yea
for us in India, the price gap is too big. You can get an S23 Ultra 256 gb at 100-110k Rs in sale or offline but Iphone 15 pro max ( Indian variant) is priced at 160k Rs with some 5-7K bank discount. So iphone 15 pro max is priced 1.5 times of S23 ultra, not sure if it is that big of an upgrade over S23 ultra
Samsung had the feature of turning normal photos into portrait photos before but now Iphone has it and everyone is going crazy about it😂

@@misterg2201 because it doesn’t do anything better than my galaxy. And idgaf about blue texts. It’s an inferior phone all around.
From everything I’ve seen, both phones are very comparable and both are very nice. I personally went with the 15 pro max, but that’s because I already have an iPhone 11 and like the Apple layout/OS. If you prefer the android OS, go with the s23 ultra. With how advanced both phones are, 99% of people will be perfectly happy with either. Apple is also typically more optimized on social media, but with the s23 ultra being a flagship I’m sure that is also very comparable. Seen a lot of people yelling back and forth about which is “better” but it’s really just all down to preferred OS at this point.
You are right in what you say, but it needs to be said that with Samsung and Apple both making great devices there is a lot of devotion and even passion in their owners hearts, so these Apple and Samsung comments section battles will always occur. If nobody cared about Samsung and Apple devices enough to even bother commenting on them at all, then both companies would have problems. Bring on the arguments and squabbles!..😂😂😂👍
Buy apple for the ecosystem and Samsung for the customization.
It’s like the Sony vs Microsoft. Always gonna be fuckers in comment sections battling eachother to help reinforce the money spent from each individual. But at end of the day they’re both great and they both have a lot of love from people and so it’s personal preference really. Me I phone all day but that’s just cause I really like iPhones in general they’re lay out and operating system is what works great for me

I'm still trying to decide between iPhone 15, S23 or wait for the S24 to come out next year. I currently have a Note 10+. It''s outdated and doesn't receive any updates anymore. It's also glitching a lot. I keep going back and forth between all 3 phones. I'm overwhelmed to choose one. Any advice much appreciated 😄
There is no one phone which can be said to be better than the other at this stage. Both are top of the line, great phones. Although the S23 Ultra has gotten quite a bit cheaper than the 15 Pro Max. Choose what you like more, iOS's smoothness and great integration with the Apple Ecosystem or Android's Open system and Windows support. Also, the S Pen with the Ultra, since you use a Note device.
idk if this can work but if they allow you to return phones within 30 days, try all of them for 15 days and see which one you like the best
I've been using the s23 Ultra for about a month or two, got it for $850 on Prime day, and one of the best features I've used is object eraser which is basically magic eraser from Google. I know it's not new to the s23 Ultra but it is really nice and useful and works pretty well, under reasonable conditions. The stylus is also very useful for this feature and useful for signing documents, doodling, drawing, taking notes, etc. Not used daily but it is nice when you want/need it. Can also be used as a portable camera button which is occasionally useful. I've also used the 200 MP mode a decent amount and it's great if you want to get stunning shots of some beautiful sights that you come across. You don't use it as your default because it would take a lot of storage, and processing time, but you use it when you see something picturesque. These are all really useful features when you want them that don't seem to get enough highlight, just an honorable mention.
Bcuz hes paid off
I have a S20 FE and the object eraser feature really comes in handy even tho it's not perfect. It's awesome
for portrait, the google photos apps, is available for some years already, adjust focus, distance and blur.... which i guess most people do use, since you can save it on google storage

My iPhone 15 Pro Max will be delivered on Monday but I’m not getting it because I feel it’s a superior phone to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. From what I have read and reviews I have watched, this iPhone 15 Pro Max isn’t what people expected it to be. It’s pretty underwhelming.
I do have an issue with these reviewers who often find a way to give the IPhone the benefit of the doubt. For instance, when the IPhone is heavier they say they prefer it because the heaviness gives it a more premium feel, but when it lighter, it’s more premium because it uses “Mars Rover”material 😂. Ridiculous!!!
They should just be content with it right or wrong?
I still have the Galaxy S8+ soon I will be buying the iPhone 15 Pro Max after all the years now I’m more mature to say I’m ok with getting an iPhone years ago I wasn’t when I got my S8+ in early 2017 I was much younger 19 now I’m turning 26 now I don’t care much as I did as a teenager.
Don’t understand the people who said it was underwhelming. I thought this was a MASSIVE upgrade even though last year’s iPhone was already among the best of smartphones. This new display on iPhone Max is 2000 nits at most. No phone has ever reached that. The CPU and GPU has never been on this level on any smartphone. The camera has been massively upgraded this year (for once). I’ve always hated the camera on iPhone’s due to their oversharpening and color edits. But this new iPhone 15 lineup is very different. There’s finally a way to reduce the sharpening effect. FINALLY. To me that’s a huge deal. And in low light conditions, the 5x zoom on iPhone still outperforms the Galaxy’s 10x 😂
@@Mistygio actually for some reason the 10× lens on Galaxy doesn't even activate when in low light lmao. So that's the 3× telephoto zooming in 10 times, coz there is no effing way a 5× lens's digital zoom beats out a 10× optical lens. Hopefully they fix it in an update.

S23 Ultra does have a fully customizable power button complete with the ability to launch into any app and app feature just like iPhone 15 devices.
This feature does require the use of two Samsung Apps, which are not pre-installed. Those apps are "GoodLock" and "RegiStar," but once installed they give you the ability to launch into specific app features (like iPhone 15) and do even more with the side key. Beyond even that, you also get back tap and the ability to change how your settings app screen looks (and more)... Yes, really! All that from apps that are much older than the iPhone 15 series devices.
Just thought you should know.
The action button is separate from the power button and needs no app downloads.
@blankstatement1
You don't need any download to launch any app on the S23 series either, but to do more than toggle the flashlight and launch apps, you can download those two apps provided by Samsung for further customizations.

The power button is in notification shade on Android, and anywhere you want it to be... like on the homescreen as a gesture. iPhone doesn't allow that kind of customization out of the box, but Android does, and because of that, my power button doesn't really work like a power button anymore...
Oh, and yes, Samsung allows gestures to be enabled to turn the screen on and off without any downloading of any apps. The option to use gestures for turning the screen on and off is available right on the phone as soon as you take it out of the box and this has been a feature of most Android phones for several years now, it's not even unique to Samsung (actually Sony's Xperia line was the first to deploy such a feature).
@@VariantAEC you’re wrong though😭 since the iphone 3g? iphones have been able to have a onscreen home button with many different inputs out of the box. I don’t take anything away from android, but to be stating all of these inconsistencies just shows you don’t know much about iOS.

I find the S23 Ultra superior in most ways, hence why I have one. The Dynamic Island is a massive hindrance for fullscreen apps or videos. The camera in my opinion was better for the S23 Ultra here in pretty much every shot. The iPhone still has that weird yellow tint that just looks wrong. In terms of video both are close, the iPhone is heavily skewed towards social media with high contrast but that is something easily fixed in post if desired. The iPhone is technically faster, but I can do more on my phone in comparison to use that power. For these prices I just think the S23 Ultra is far ahead and the console games do not matter much too, they are not that smooth and the controls are nothing you'd want to use to really get an enjoyable experience. The iPhone does what the Samsung does, but the Samsung can still do a bit more.

How can i get iphone promax with 256 have sim card in usa .am on vacation at america and i want to buy the sim card version as of esim not supported in my country
Both are killer in their own aspects people who use iphone loves iphones and who use androids loves androids literally s23 ultra is a killer 😮
You can customize buttom patterns on the 23 ultra to open apps and you can just take a picture with the volume button you could do it when there was still a Bixby button
That was the best unbiased comparison ever! 🎉
@@UmarAkmalPKWTF is this ?
please how do i get your lock animation on the s23 ultra . i really love it
I ordered the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It hasn’t come yet should I return it because I heard it overheats and it cracks easily and also if I keep it should I get AppleCare plus I didn’t get it because my phones usually never break
The display on the S23U makes the brand new iPhone look old or of the box.
My 2 year old S21u has less bezels
You can program the power but to do the same thing as the action button and more
My S21 Ultra Side key acts as an action button. I can customize it to do almost anything I choose. That statement saying that feature isn't available on the Samsung is incorrect 🤔. Also, no mentions of the USBC 3.0 speeds on the Samsung VS the USBC 2.0 speeds on the iPhone are a substantial difference. I would say this review slightly favors the iPhone from a bias judgment. I may be wrong but that's how I feel. 💯
Im a samsung user and i was thinking about trying apple for once, but I would go for the base model. The only issue is that the base model iphones only have 60 hz. Is it worth waiting for or if apple has 120 hz on base model?
Awesome job with the vid as always, your getting real close to hitting your 2 million subscriber milestone!
💪🔥🙌🎃
Both are superb. The only thing downside of Samsung flagships are the green screen that appears after 2-3 years. I don't know why Samsung is deliberately sabotaging their flagship phones or they're not just addressing hardware issues of their super amoled flagship phones.
P.S. Why non of these mainstream tech vloggers are questioning the hardware issues green screen of Samsung phones?
"I consistently appreciate Supersaf's phone comparisons for his genuine approach, which doesn't seem biased towards any specific phone company. This is particularly noticeable when it comes to Apple products. Bravo!"
Experts can point out differences but in reality, when u are going to use it both will feel excellent.
Yes. You can use the face recognition for some banking apps on the Ultra Series. And so far it has been safe for me.
Nice comparison video. I love the design on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I'm sure the iPhone 15PM is a great device but I wouldn't swap my S23 Ultra for one, I just prefer android. It's good that there's healthy competition between Apple and Samsung though, all the better for us consumers
Gotta appreciate the quality of this video. The lightning, camera angle to best shows the phone and fun way to ask for like/ sub.
Sorry, but you said the s23 doesn't have an action button which is not true. You can map the power button to almost anything. Mine in fact is mapped to the camera just like your iPhone action button. Also you can take photos with hand gestures, galaxy watch and the spen.
need social media optimization comparison for both the phones
So we can see how low res RUclips thumbnails look on android 😂
@@xFactoryUSA when did this happen? It never did. Lmao🤣
Apple wins this every time
Competition breeds innovation.
till the 15 pro line up came out the s23 U actually was ahead from the 14 line up the proper competitor will be s24U till than i also think 15 pro line up has the best cameras
It is years that the comparison is the same every year, thanks to the phone companies' creativity😒😁
When doing these comparisons I always wonder if they are changing the settings in the Samsung to max setting and not the setting out of the box. The Samsung have a sound limiter and other stuff as well.
I'm actually glad that it's a closer than we thought it would be. I'm a Samsung guy through and through but I know these days they won't push the envelope unless Apple does.
To be honest, when they came with S22, they let it be, and after, hey launched the beast, s23, i'm pretty much bit sure, and i doubt it at the same time, the S24, will be way more of a killer than s23, i got the s23 ultra and beat every phone i came across, i just dont wanna imagine the 24, but in the end, both iph or ssg, are good in their own way, depends which u love more
Im still rocking s21 ultra. My first samsung. Departure from pixels I've always had post nokia era. Cant say a bad word. Just changed the battery and working like a charm..i dont think curtent generation can offer anything beyond i already have. Maybe faster charging would be nice.
I got s21 ultra and i can confirm that is a solid smartphone. Display, camera, premium design and materials, and super powerful chip. But im getting iphone 15 pro max cause of it's operating system, iPhones are like ferrari of the smartphones, because it's so well optimized. You don't get 200mp camera like samsung, because you aren't getting crystal clear shoots. You aren't getting 240w recharge, cause after a year the battery will be 80% of life....before they introduce anything new on an iphone, it will get tested 100000 times, and it has to be as simple as intuitive as it is mean to be. You got 8gb of ram, and samsung 12, but you can get every single drop from it's juice👍👍
still thinking of upgrading my 2yo s21+ to the ultra but that's like $300 extra so idk
After my S21 Ultra had an overheating problem and I could barely hold a video chat for longer than 3-5 minutes without the phone shutting off, I vowed never to buy a Samsung again. Well, I'm now giving Samsung another chance since I was able to order the S23u for just $800.
I always found the charging time to be a problem with the S21u too until I tried it on an original charger. Well, that made quite a difference. Like that the charging time is ok-ish.
I will upgrade to the 15PM this year. Cam and CPU/GPU are awesome. But the S23U is still a good phone. You cannot go wrong with any of‘em
You should wait for the S24 ultra which is around the corner compare and then choose.
@@giovanysantiago5892 I switched 2 years ago from Android to IOS. I had a lot of hardware issues with Samsung in the past I've never had with my iPhone. I don't think I will switch back. But thx for the hint.
@@giovanysantiago5892the S23U and 15PM are 2023 releases. He should compare them by year. Samsung has at least two releases per year where Apple only has one so you can’t compare them in the way you’re saying.
@@alexferrara9287 I think its a fair comparison since Apple's first phone was released in 2007 and Samsung's was in 2009, just my opinion. I'm gonna say again the S24U is just around the corner.
@alexferrara9287 you compare by distance samsung main line comes out in February apple phones always come out during the end of the year. The other samsung launch is in August and it's for the folds.
Wait, so the HTC that had polymar made from the shuttle on its shell. How did the M8 hold up against the market, because software is better than shell.
Keep the stories coming, Floss.
Just ordered a neutral titanium iPhone 15pro Max and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. I just enjoy the apple ecosystem better, family and friends have apple as well. I take more video than high zoom shots personally so that also led my decision.
all the apple watches are the same bro
A lot of people prefer a dumbed down OS, and a million children working as slaves in China appreciate you sticking with Apple.
Just got my s23 ultra the other day. 🥰 Upgraded from a A52 🤯
Yeahhhhh that comb over looking fresh on point!
Great video my friend!🎉
Yeah, it's going to be weird charging my iPhone with the same macbook pro charger I've been using for my Samsung for years.
The Samsung screen is just on another level 🎉
Quality video!! Loved it!
im a dual phone user, currently I have a note 10+ and a 13 pro max.. I like to maintain both an android and iOS.. should I upgrade the note 10+ which I have been using for the past 4 yrs or get the 15 pro max even if I still have the 13 pro max?
i like both but I am buying the previous year model, a bit cheaper but still capable.
Great comparison and depth analysis, Saf. Always a pleasure watching your comparison videos. I am not a big phone guy. I will keep things simple so a 6.1" screen is a perfect fit for my daily needs.
One of the best comparisons between two biggest joints of the market 🥰🔥😎💪
Does anyone knows howe to make wallpapers like he has on both phones I would like to know that. Thank you
Who is waiting for phonebuffs speed test of these devices
Me!
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of these two. I was hesitating because of the camera in the Ultra even though I've been an Apple user for decades, but looking at some of the color and sharpness, I'm sticking to the iPhone! Megapixels aren't everything unless you're making a billboard!
Actually billboards are printed at a very low resolution and are very pixelated, as are most large format pieces. They are viewed at farther distances and to the human eye, the image still looks sharp. Also higher resolution images for large format would bog down printers and servers increasing the overall time and cost of production. For these two reasons, high resolution imagery is deemed unnecessary for billboards and large format printing of the like.
Bro...the double press on the power button is fully customisable even on my 200 dollar Samsung Galaxy M34. It can open camera, switch on torch, access samsung pay, or even launch any app in your phone... including 3rd party apps that you installed. The camera shutter button was alway there on the volume down key of Android phone. That's a better position for a shutter button compared to the iPhone, for rear and selfie photos. I would say that the new action button is a downgrade from the older mute switch. Because the iPhone is not a button less phone. They could have given this customisable function to one of the existing buttons as a double press function just like what Samsung does. There was no need to get rid of a handy feature like the mute switch...
Btw Samsung also has ray tracing, which means it can also load console games like the new iPhone. But it's just that not much games are added to the programme...
Shoutout to the $30 titanium in the IPhone 15 🎉🎉🎉
And don't forget, in most parts of the world,.the s23 ultra is half the price of the iPhone 15 pro max.
😅
iPhone is marketed for the elite whilst Samsung for the average.
@@deckhead33 thanks, that's a really good joke 🤣
I’m coming back to some of these videos to share my experience with both these phones and why I chose one over the other. Maybe it will help someone else make their decision. I originally got the s23 ultra and ended up returning it for the 15 pro max. Technically I believe the s23 ultra is the more tech advanced phone and can do more but the iPhone feels more premium in hand and is more enjoyable to use in day to day tasks. The excitement of the s23 wore out quickly and it just felt like any other android phone. On the other hand the iPhone still impressed me with how premium it feels every time I pull it out of my pocket. Even just how the touch screen feels when you’re swiping around the Home Screen. I don’t know what it is but it just feels like a higher quality product. If you’re a heavy tech user and will actually use things like dex then you may want to go with the s23 but if you just use your phone to make calls, watch RUclips, scroll social media and connect with friends then I think the iPhone is the better experience. The s23 ultra is an absolute beast and will do all the things you want it to do but for me I didn’t use even half of the things it could do and it just didn’t feel as good doing the normal everyday things as the iPhone. I honestly believe most average people will enjoy using the iPhone over the ultra but if you will use all the features like dex I completely understand the appeal in the s23. Also I have not had any of the issues people are reporting about the 15. The s23 ultra is cooler during charging but my iPhone doesn’t get overly hot. I think the battery is better on the iPhone as well. On the ultra it seemed like every time I looked at my battery percentage it had ticked down another percent. My iPhone seems to just sip battery in comparison. I know that was a bit of a ramble but it’s early and I’m tired so forgive me.
thanks! this resonated with me and helped me make my decision.
A lot of the iphone 15s problems were addressed in an update so if you updated the problems wouldn't be there
@@troas6431how can hardware problems be fixed with a software update?
@thedinosaurz The system could be overburdening a specific part, and using software to reduce said burden can alleviate the issue rather than outright solve it. apple is no stranger to throttling hardware to lower performance due to poor design, just not usually in their phones.
@@troas6431 apple is a terrible company and the fact they slow down their old phones to force people to upgrade prove it
Such easy to follow review
👍
Action button like feature not in S23U? That's absolutely wrong information, the power button of S23U can be customised in a better way than iPhone 15 Pro Max's action button. The customisation is possible from side key settings and goodlock.
S23 is beast, only if we still had a headphone jack, expandable micro sd, and a removal battery would be cool.
