@@jakeleisure8326 lol almost every person I know in my generation (25yo) drives 20k cars, buy luxury items, travel and go out partying etc. none of this is bad at all, but they then go on to complain that they don’t have what I have at 25, I now have small passive income that’s growing day by day and can work a job I actually enjoy as I don’t have to stress about a dollar… that meant I drank cheap, ate cheap, didn’t go to Sunday brunch etc. or have cocktails after work like 90% of the people in my area do. Even if payments are on hold, that's when you should tackle them. There was no interest being charged for months and months in thr US. That savings is huge! It's the only way I was able to pay off my student loans without taking 5+ more years. The interest is what is brutal, so a wise person would throw everything at those payments when there's no interest. If you're delaying, you're just kicking the can down the loan. Suffer now to lighten the load later.
