- Together we are embarking on an Experience Evolution - with animal biology, behaviors and dazzling biodiversity at the core. We are building an aquarium of the future, where guests will explore with their senses and look on with wonder at the weird and wonderful adaptations that allow aquatic animals to thrive in all sorts of environments around the world. Guests will leave with a deeper personal relationship to nature and a better understanding of how our decisions - both big and small - impact our shared fate.
FINALLY! Now I get to see what the end result will be like when the exhibits are updated. Even though the Oceanarium and Wild Reef were not mentioned, I'm still impressed by what's taking place in the other exhibits. All of the other attractions like the Changing Oceans, and Caribbean Reef are by far some of the best looking ones that I've seen, with the new Kelp Forest exhibit and the announcement of new species of Ray to the Caribbean reef tunnel. I couldn't be more excited to see this transformation come to life in the next few years.
Fantastic vision materialized into a beautiful plan that augments the history of this facility to place it on the cutting edge of modern design and educational initiative. This is truly fantastic; very excited for my kids to get to experience it. Bravo!

i am so very excited for these new renivations and exhibits. im especially excited for all the educational things being added for people to learn about the animals. i have 1 question: will there be any new exhibits or anything new for jellyfish? i especially love jellyfish and its my favorite part of the shedd aquarium but its one of the smallest. so i wanna know if theres gonna be anythinh new and exciting including jellyfish 🪼
