Hey Guys,I'm back! Sorry for the delays! I got extremely busy with work and it cut into my reviewing time! I'm making up for lost time and kicking things off with an awesome release! Let me know what you think of Metal Build Eva-01 and if you plan on picking this release up!
After two weeks of debating if I wanting this MB Eva01, I decided that I am going to live without it because of the high prices this piece command in the secondary market. My motto is to not support inflated prices, if I do; it would encourage that kind of behavior into our hobby. Also more and more reputable online hobby stores are allotted at least 10 pieces to put aside for higher markups price after the initial MSRP sold out on first day opening of pre-orders. I’m not going to lie, but I’m still tempted after seeing your review. If the reissue MB Eva01 sold out again within minutes, then it is not meant to be for me.
I saw a lot of people claim there will be a reissue this year. I'm not sure how true that is, but hopefully you can snag one for a more reasonable price.
maaaan, so much assembly. this evanpla was amazing; it wouldnt be as fun if everything just came attached. and it comes with so many extra stuff! and you can put all of it on top of the robot!
This is the best, most professional and thorough review of an action figure I have watched to date. Bravo man! Love the posses, backdrops and attention to detail as you described such a worthy and quality action figure. I was going to review this figure when I get mine, but after seeing this, I feel like saying: "check this guy out" LOL. But seriously...Good job! But if I do attempt a review of this amazing figure, I will take pointers from you. I hope you will receive that as a compliment...not plagiarism.

i also have this figure but mine has a very stiff left knee joint. i tried to bend it forcefully but i was afraid that i may break it. its really frustrating since the right knee joint is ok.
ultragodzillafan There's several with that ability. The Sentinel/Riobot Eva 01 has a posable jaw, but that figure is really expensive. The same with the Soul of Chogokin figures. There are some Revoltech Eva 01s with articulated jaws, but they might not be as good in quality as Bandai. Finally, there are the rather rare Eva figures from Banpresto, but from what I've seen, those are very poorly built and fragile.
Gotta say though, i'm not a fan of this redesign. It seems far too robotic, especially with all the exposed "inner workings". EVAs aren't just mechs, but giant humanoid organisms with armor attached to them. That's probably just me being pedantic and complaining too much though. Anyway, fantastic review! Glad to see that you're back.
Switch Board Well, with the original Evangelion anime being released on Netflix soon, along with the slow-but-steady Eva 4.0 movie in the works, Bandai might release a new line of Eva figures, either through Robot Damashii, Chogokin, SH Figuarts, or even a new figure sub-series.
I hate to say this, but whoever made this fucked it up big time. There are so many painting mistakes, especially on the head. I'm so happy that mine didn't come with so many mistakes.

I'm not sure. This is my very first Evangelion figure.
