James Blunt blows my mind - he takes all his songs with a pinch of salt and doesn’t take his lyrics seriously, and yet you see him perform and you just believe he feels EVERY SINGLE word! You see emotion in that man’s eyes and feel it in his voice. Incredibly talented man.
I played that song by James Blunt when my fiancee passed away from cancer a few years back .. .damn it still breaks me down.. He has a true gift in putting words to song that have real touching meaning

I don't think it's that people don't like him. it's more that when Back to Bedlam came out it was played to death. Deep down I think everyone knew it was great but it got too much and people kind of got sick of it. Over time people have come to appreciate just how good it is again.
