Thank you! It meets the need. Necessity is the mother of invention, right?

This is great. I have never seen an IBC tote converted to a chicken tractor.

    Chicken Tractor, 🚜🤔
    Learned something new today 👍
Back on granddad's farm it was free range chickens during the day and back to the coup for the night. My job was the chicken herder.🐓🐓🐓

Yes sir. Predator issues around here make it nearly a necessity

Can think of a couple of improvements for the next one: on the tow rope side, cut the front bottom corner off each 2×4 runner, get over obstacles easier, maybe add some kind of skirting for uneven ground that the runners would leave a gap for hungry ring tailed critters to take advantage of, something with a decent weight of course. And, maybe some wheels off the back, barely off the ground, lift front a little, wheels contact the ground, making it more transportable.🤔🤔🤔

I know I know it doesn’t make good video but when moving chickens to and from the tractor it’s a lot easier to do before daylight when the day comes for them to be butchered go out before daylight lift the hole tractor off of them they will just sit there and you can put them in the tote or whatever you are going to use to take them to your
Processing area It sucks getting up early but has its benefits. But I’m sure you knew all this anyway

That’s a great point. It certainly does help to do it that way. Thanks for watching. God bless.
