    Yup they are expensive . Got a 12" One over the welding areas as the SS is highly toxic when welding or Tig. And hose cost a bit to. Forgot what kind I have but work good so far. Thank you for the update on the fan.

    Thanks for the thoughts and the demo! This brand caught my attention specifically because of the price like you mentioned. But of course, being so inexpensive, it really does help to know what someone else thinks of the construction :)

    The fan balancing you mentioned is very interesting. So it looks like the ground some of the blade and just left it unpainted? Assume some of the metal was taken down and that it wasn't just paint?

    Thank you for the review. I have been looking for a good fan for several years but I could never find any product I felt I could rely on. It's difficult to believe the reviews on the internet.

    I'm considering that unit for a small paint booth. What end of that unit is the intake, and does that unit ship with it's hose?

    Great analysis and video.
    Is this a 2-speed unit? If so, any remarks on this? Thanks.

      just a single speed, the unit does move a lot of air with a decent pressure so it should be able to handle some restriction like a furnance filter.

    👀...I expected "explosion proof" to be click bait... because I've never heard of a fan exploding...I learned something that may save a life today....

    Is it good for garage paint booth for painting car

    • @CatusMaximus
      @CatusMaximus  2 года назад

      It probably would, it is atex rated so it should not be a fire hazard and moves a lot of air. It just is not balanced very well and has some vibration
