I feel like this should belong more in the 12-1am sorta area. 10pm seems to early to play something that sounds this sleepy and low. Good song though! I actually really like it, even with how simple and reserved it is :)
i agree with above, it’s of course a Nintendo game, and as you know the DS was marketed for kids. for the many younger people using it, 10pm was probably past their bedtime.

So you come up with the strategy of sneakily pulling your DS out and playing underneath the covers. Suddenly, you hear footsteps coming closer and closer to your bedroom door, so you quickly hide the DS underneath your pillow and pretend that you’re sleeping. *_Phew! That was a close call._*
Don’t forget having to close the ds quickly, but carefully so it doesn’t make that snap we all know and fear. Alternatively, close it under the pillow but risk it not closing all the way cause it got some pillow between it.
I broke my ds because i fell asleep to this song and dropped it off my bed. I remember the broken top screen still had a backlite, but the screen only shoeed a blue denim-like texture I was 9 years old.
if you have a ukulele, go ahead and teach yourself this song. its extremely easy to play and the only chord shapes are the barred major7 and minor7 shapes. Its pretty far up the neck though so make sure your uke has enough frets
