  • Bought from Eagle Music shop in Yorkshire since making this video I have taken the harp apart to adjust the reeds and found on the lower octave there are wind savers! I think that this is because of it being a low C. I believe that on regular tunings there are no wind savers. Sorry for any misinformation!* In fact all low tunings and orchestra tunings have wind savers. So if like me you want a Seydel non slider because you don't want wind savers, don't make the same mistake as me, get a regular tuned non slider!

Hi Derek. Thanks for sharing your experiences with this. In quite interested in this model because I'm fed of dealing with windsavers so I like the idea of it.
Now, 4 months on, how have progressed with it so far?
Is it getting easier to do the things you want to on it or are you still finding it a bit "uphill"?
    Thanks
    Neal

Hi Neal, I find that I pick it up more and more now, with the result that it's becoming much more intuitive. I will buy one in normal tuning so that it doesn't have windsavers, that will make it perfect for me. Even though my low C has windsavers, I haven't experienced the same issues with this chrom that I have with my other normal chroms.
