  • YEE's sustainable energy project will host another webinar this Thursday at 15:30 pm. This time, we'll be be talking about lobbying activities in the energy sector. We will essentially discuss how pressure groups work to push for their agenda with decision makers, and which action are most effective at the institutional level. In this discussion, we will be joined by :
For EU affairs: Monica Vidal Sanchez, Heating Campaign Coordinator CAN-Europe, a passionate advocate for climate action and sustainability with over a decade of experience in the field.
For national level: Marina Gros Breto, Gas campaign manager for Ecologistas en Acción, a Spanish confederation of environmental movements.
Both have extensive experience with activities designed to influence the decision-making process and will answer all our questions on the complex discussions and negotiations leading to the design or reform of public policies !This webinar is also the opportunity to see concrete example of strong environmental action at EU level with the campaign led by CAN-Europe on the reform of the Building Energy Performance Directive. The stakes of this campaign a far from insignificant as building energy consumption accounts for:
    - 40% of EU energy consumption
    - 36% of energy-related greenhouse gas emissions

May I ask what are the arguments for @MarinaGrosBreto to be against nuclear energy to be classified as green?
