I love the fact you mention you can have a passion just to have one, I do digital art and sewing and they never just admire it for what it is. Is always “you should sell it, why do you do it just for fun” and I appreciate it to a certain extent but sometimes I just want to create with no intention of selling it. I love it for gift giving, and at one point I’d like to start a small business but it’s a passion right now and that’s okay!
Oh boy I needed to hear this today. I’m so passionate about creating and editing videos, but my anxiety is the loudest voice in my head and has me convinced that I have nothing special to offer. I know that’s not true but it’s hard to be creative and loud and proud with those doubts, and it’s difficult and scary to navigate.
i made my passion into my career (baking) and it’s so nice to here someone talk about how not so glamorous it can be. also can’t wait to watch content creation because it’s something i want to get better at for my business
