Inefficient paddling means energy pushing and pulling against the water the wrong way, and poor leg driving pushes you backwards in your seat making your net thrust also push backwards slowing you down, Pimenta has got good form and he paddles slow and steady because he’s not fighting the water like some other guys are. I’m trying to learn from his technique but it’s so smooth
