Any idea how to eliminate the bleed through from the original source? I find that when the blue tooth signal is playing, the original signal that has been cut off still comes through at low volume.

This is my favorite unit to upgrade old radios... if you get noise in your output add a 16v 1000uf cap to the power feed.. With the mic and remote buttons it makes old radios usable again! I intercept the the pre/amp feed of the old device so it BT interrupts whatever you were playing on the old device like it was designed to work like that..

Can you explain your solution a bit more detailed? Would be great! I don't understand, how the BT can interrupt, wouldn't there just be 2 audio signals parallel?
I would like to install an BT modul for the AM mode of the original Radio, but the only downside would be missing navigation sound of BT connected smartphone while in FM mode. Therefore, the best thing would be a BT input which allways kind of shut down the FM audio.

The best bit about this audio demo is I can't make out a damned thing being said in it.
