- Hey everyone! Today we're doing an art supply overview where I'll be diving into some handmade watercolor paper. The paper I'm testing is Khadi, a brand from India that makes their 100% cotton paper with recycled t-shirts, and I'm going to walk you through my step-by-step process of painting a fun and whimsical hobbit home. Let's see how the paper holds up!

Thank you for sharing your painting. Beautiful. I love how the paper pulls the paint right into it. Nice effect.
Funny, I just started painting a little hobbit house this morning. It's my comfort painting subject.
🥹🥹your videos are therapeutic🤍 i love the cinematography, storytelling and the excellent sound designing in your videos✨ you are such a skilled person kathy❤️Love from india🎉 can't wait to buy the paper
Hi! Thanks for sharing your experiences with handmade paper. My self having a learning curve with Japanese handmade paper. Love to hate experience still learning how to go pass the hard time and see the opportunities. Thank you ☺
I absolutely love your style - in every way that can be interpreted! The hobbit hole is magical. And I really enjoyed your review of the paper.
I love rag paper. I think it gives you more control over brushstrokes. It is easier for me to paint a straight line with this texture than with cold or hot press.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Khadi paper. I have one of the journals and I wasn't sure how it reacts to paint or water. Beautiful painting!
Oh thank you so so much. You led me into such a magical world…state….I tried it out on ordinary paper and really enjoyed the process. Full gratitude for such a creative afternoon.❤
Beautiful painting and beautiful video! 😍 Thank you for sharing your painting process and your thoughts with us. 🥰🦔🌻
This was such a beautiful video to watch, I loved it. Nice storytelling and an amazing painting.
Lovely piece ❤
Love your videos!!!!
Your hobbit hole looks so cozy, I'd move in tomorrow if the rent was reasonable
YES we can be roommates❤😆
Very nice video
Thank you, my hobbitfan !!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Your style and the way you layer is so good. Do you recommend any books or classes?
Thank you! There are a ton of useful books out there but some that I really like are: Tom Lynch's watercolor Secrets, The Watercolour Flower Painter's A to Z, Color Theory by Patti Mollica (not watercolour specific but it outlines colour theory in a very simple way), and most of David Bellany's books. Hope these help!
@@boxesofsheep Thank you for sharing your book list! I have Patti Mollica's expressive painting and Im gonna check out the other books.
Thank you
your video is beautifully shot.
It matches your artwork and creates a very good mood, and ambience.

-As far as the paper, yay or nay ?
Thank you so much, you're too kind!! I personally recommend the paper. It might take some getting used to - at least, it did for me; but someone else mentioned that the paper was perfect for them as a beginner, so it probably varies from person to person. I just think it's a unique and interesting experience!
