Thanks for Basic Rules for the Design Of RC Column.How we can conclude about providing main bars of column , whether along width or depth in case of rectangular section.For example i have to provide 6-12mm bar for a 9"x15" column.Do i need to place 3 bars each along 9" or 15" side
The dist b/w the bars should not be more than 300 mm..so along 15" .... 3 bars both side should be provided..
