I feel bad for the bride. The groom’s family seem quite insensitive, the bride’s family should have agreed to cancel the wedding. If the groom’s family can cancel the wedding for a superficial reason, is there any guarantee they won’t threaten to call off the wedding in the future or threaten divorce in the future for minor reasons.

Suppose your groom has faced a similar incident because of which his face has destroyed than obviously bride and her parents going to cancel the wedding. Parents or even a girl herself wants a groom with govt job and ofcourse with good facial features. Everyone wants a good partner with good looks and good financial condition. This is the reality of the world.

I remember a recent case in my relatives that a marriage is just cancel because there is someone died in the groom's family just few days before their marriage so they thought that the girl is unlucky for their family....

In February, I got engaged.. I did a lot of research and booked a MUA after that.. and let me tell you by the time i reached to the stage, my face was looking pale and dark.. the curls were falling apart and my hairs became messy.. and when I confronted them , they said it was my fault, I would have done something that destroyed it.. and that they did thr best.. one of my frnd is a MUA and I talked to her regarding this and she said “ did they asked you about the look you want.. did they asked u abt ur skin type.. did they asked you wat triggers your skin” and my answer was “ No!” She told me and thr u go wrng.. they had not choose the correct products and colour for ur face.. and hence , my look was destroyed even after paying a hefty amount. And now I so scared abt my wedding look… I really am
This is really horrible... Please don't worry . Just go for a MUA whose work you or your close one have seen . Also you can talk to your MUA friend you mentioned. Please don't keep this thing in mind on your special day or else you won't be able to enjoy your day and will regret later on. So just have faith and enjoy your day. Best wishes!!

Girls, learn to do basic make up for small occasions and before wedding practice wedding make up for at least 15 days and do it by yourself. These MUAS use sub standard products and charge a lot. Plus we need to see whether their brush is clean, hands are clean,etc. Better you do your make up

Yes, its possible to look amazing without visiting parlor. I have rosacea so I only got my eyebrows and waxing done. And shaadi wale din got very minimal makeup done. Got loads of compliments ❤
Your sister did the right thing. Dermatologists are trained and even they do not recommend typical parlor wale facials. For my wedding everyone got a facial done, from my family, from my husband's family but except me😂

The money spent on makeup artist and hairstylist is utmost wastage during a wedding ......that too so much money spent to convert yourself froma pretty bride to a ghost bride....why....put on a lil makeup but better to go a dermat get a face and skin cleanup and look nice and clean on ur wedding day with slight makeup highlighting the good features of ur face
A lot of people don't go to the dermatologist rather they prefer to go to the beauty parlour. This is a harsh reality. Some beautician straight way so no to them but some do anything with the client's skin for greediness . One lady came to parlour with harsh sunburn , she said she wants to get treatment done . One lady wanted to remove her mole . These are few examples 😂

I once went to a parlour in a small town, she was scrubbing hard on my mom's dark circles. She said it will come off. My mom was in pain. She stopped the procedure then and there

Wedding is almost every girl's unforgettable , special and important day. And MUAs should understand that they should try to make it more memorable and not tragic. I can't even imagine arguing with MUA on wedding day☹️..
I faced a very bad experience on my wedding day.i hired an expensive makeupartist,she took advance from me, and then informed me few days before my wedding that she won't be available at that date and will send some other person from other company and refused to return the advance. The makeupartist who came was so inexperienced, used fake products and I panicked so badly on my wedding day, I am really scared to look at my wedding pictures! When I complained,she said she has connections with police and will file false case against me as she is a single mother(I was unaware of her this backstory). This was the worst experience of my life..I can't forget the trauma I faced due to that expensive makeup artist. The worst part is she is still out their running a business and fooling other clients.

I was luckily enough when it comes to MUA ony wedding day... She called me 2 days prior and collected all the details like location.. Picture of the dress and other small details... Came right on time with everything required...made me ready by 5:30...7:30 was the muhurat... And stayed till the wedding stated for required touch ups

I'm a makeup artist and i take some masterclass online with famous MUA's but i see some pages with 900k aur 500k followers they show soo much attitude like shubham saxena his make-up was good but his behaviour was not recently i take his masterclass online but before that he talk to me with very rude way he always ask me for registration that I don't like nd yeah it's true that every makeup artist used heavy lights nd cameras on model face but there makeup is not good as well jaisa hume dikhta h vesa hota nhi h so i request to everyone don't contact with social media makeup infuleancer they have so much attitude..!!

I m a salon owner and I have done professional makeup artist course but and I m in this industry from past 7 years but I haven’t seen anywhere ki foundation ke baad steam dea rahe ho it is out of my imagination 😅 but from my experience I will say ki jo log acche se humble behave karte hai unhe b bahut problem face karne hote hai

Ohh my God, you cannot cannot do steam and makeup simultaneously, coz the pores are opened up and these products are absorbed & gets clogged, so it's a big No No. I rather ask my brides to get their facial done a week prior, ohh mannn!! This is craaazzyyyyy!!
Being a makeup artist trust me there is nothing like steam makeup or HD makeup or 3D makeup.... NO NO NO!!! Requesting you don't get fooled by the people who just ask for these things..... Makeup is never HD the products are..... And these all the good mua are using HD products.... Yes categories are there but don't get fooled by these terms... Be Aware

Exactly they just whitewash the client. I got ready by a mua for my cousin's wedding. I strictly told her to use my shade still she used way lighter foundation, i love my tanned skin. But that day my face looked like a ghost , like i was wearing a mask because my body's colour didn't match my face. I was very upset.

Hi I m a makeup artist too and i totally agree with your point that some makeup artist are very demanding and high headed. But it is the same thing with clients also if the artist is polite and humble clients often take them for granted . I have been through this and trust me clients are equally at fault they want entertain big artists tantrums and will treat like a slave to the not so famous artists.

This is really a very serious issue . Skin is a very important and huge part of our body . Correct me if I am wrong are skin has pores through which our body breath. Major issue on skin can even affect person's health. So apply anything on skin is really dangerous. Hope most of people watch this video and opt for professionals only.
Who is here like me who have never done any type of make up, except putting Kajal. I even don't know type of tools use to do make up 😂
Even certification is not enough i have contacted a lot of salons they refuse to show the work they have done and said that they will reveal the exact mua or her /his work only after i have booked it. This is not fair. It is important to know how good their work is. The fact that they are not fully transparent shows that they are not being honest. They know they are not the best in the business
I am not shocked by seeing this...the almost same thing happened with me. I had gone to this salon (Apple Salon in Akurdi, Pune). I had to travel to my native for a marriage, so day before travelling to native I went to this Apple salon. I used to do herbal always, but lady in salon asked me to do O3 facial and not sure what items she used, by face was getting damaged slowly from very next day and they didn't even take the accountability. My face was damaged at very high level and then i had to see a dermat.
Now i am feeling fine..just had to highlight this. ladies just stay aware about your MUA or salon choices
As a makeup artist myself I will always suggest people around me to visit dermats for skin problems and hair experts for hair problems same goes for muas every mua has one or 2 specialisations pls dont visit a salon regardless of it ratings and brand name am from pune and most branded salons are trash just as you mentioned apple salon is one of them vlcc lakme salon etc are equally same. Some of them are giving services offered by a dermatologist and legally thats so wrong the machinery and products used are professional and the doctors stand by their words and take responsibility for their action. If you are from aundh I would suggest you HBOK salon. Someone I personally know works there and we had a deep talk about how chemical treatments are suggested to clients without knowledge just to rip off money from people. Same goes to beauty services. Stick to what suits your skin a good skincare routine and a monthly dermat session will cost less than the amount required for getting hefty facials and massages. Am sorry you had to go through such a horrendous experience 😊

I'm seriously done with this make up culture... I am not against make up... It's personal choice of person and I believe thoda bohot normal make up aana bhi chahiye.. it's Good for functions and festivals.... But make up being sooooo important and unnecessary hyped... Wedding me bride ko itna makeup kiya jaata hai, ki bechari pehchan m b nahi aati... And even she is dusky or brownish but usse bhi jabardasti fair banaya jaata hai....

My actual skin tone is dusky but my makeup artist made my skin tone darker on my wedding.. When she was doing my makeup it was good but after some time makeup become way too dark on my skin... My special day was ruined because of her😢
People should go to dermatologist and not to beauty parlors for skin treatment, just go for makeups and threading that's it
For me doing makeup is harder than maths 😢😅 still from now on I'm going to learn make up for my special day i won't be hiring this people at all

The main thing is here if the person you are marrying is directly cancelling the marriage just because something misfortunate had happened with your face then what is the meaning of spending whole life with him. It clearly shows that he don't love her & what's the point of marriage without love.
On the day of my wedding,the lady who was supposed to do my make, cancelled the program because it was 6pm and although her house was only 500 m away from my house,when we were providing vehicle and everything. My god my sister is very good at doing makeup that,and she did all my makeup. But if you ask me, makeup artist's behaviour was just unprofessional
This is the exact reason why I absolutely hate salons and parlours... I have never ever let a salon lady ( no matter how much they emphasis that they are pro) touch my hair or face irrespective of the occasion... The fact that the groom's family wanted to cancel the wedding bc bride's face was bruised? It was so lowly and inhuman of them. I understand bc of the societal pressure and everything the bride's family felt the need to save the marriage and convinced them to postpone it not cancel it. But if you see, this is actually a red flag. A partner and a family which is not willing to support you in your difficult times just a few moments before the marriage, how can you rest assured that they will have your back and be there for you in your difficult times after you get married in that family? Practically, it'd have been better if the wedding was called off. But again, we know how harsh the society is on the girls whose weddings/engagements are called off or the girls who are divorced, etc, so yeah I get it. But I hope the bride heals real soon and her face and skin goes back to its normal state!
And seriously, I hope these kind of beauticians and makeup artists never get to practice again!
My big sis got married last month so she booked a Mua I'm also a makeup artist so I was sitting there and watching them I saw they were doing wrong they told me to stop and told me to get out also my big sis agreed with them I told her I'm also a makeup artist but still she agreed with them then I came outside from the room and I was helping my mom
When my big sis arrived my whole relatives started gossiping how bad the makeup is my big sis was crying so much the next day was her reception and I did her makeup and she still regret so much that even she don't want to see her marriage pics
Completely agree to this video but I’ve also seen clients scamming Mua’s say for example trails.. they come for trail and ask to do a full blown makeup and ends up it wasn’t just a trail but they actually end up to a party or some occasion without us knowing that client is actually getting her makeup done for some occasion.
Another case they ask for siders makeup for their haldi mehndi events.. like no? You are the bride and bride will be applied bridal makeup charges only be it any function. They will do all sorts of grand decor, events etc but always negotiate with a relatively smaller mua for their side functions who are already charging less. That’s not fair.

Seriously, for my engagement I didn't wanted to do any makeup. Just eyeliner and lipstick. Parlour jaakr hairstyle hi bnwana tha. But my Bua and her DIL convinced my mother to get me ready at a parlour. They turned me into a ghost😂 My husband said I look sooooo sooo better without makeup and don't even need it😂 He once asked me to do the kind of makeup which I did when we met for the first time after our engagement. And I was just wearing kajal and some light tinted lip balm😂

Ya I remembered my wedding ,i didn't have much time to organise everything so I asked one of my friends for mehandi they suggested me one lady ,I spoke with her she confidently said I know everything I hired her and she kept black mehandi as outline and filled inside with regular mehandi and she demanded a big amount ,I was like crying on the big day they did it to me,it way 12 years back but still I remember that day...

Just use basic makeup , rest everyone will know who is bride because of lehemga,saree, jewelry etc.... I toh plan to use my daily makeup of cc cream, lipstick and eyeliner ,blush, powder, that's all on wedding day... if at all I get married

There are dentists and beauticians doing procedures which are only legal to be done by a dermatologist or a surgeon. And people still go to such places. Just research thoroughly and tbh first go to a dermatologist before trying on any fad , they know skin they have studied and practiced for decades. They have read science and why certain things react and if some reaction occurs they know how to handle it. They have been trained. And if you see traya they do prp dermatologist will do the same procedure in less price. First do a thorough research and trust your doctors

Hi di I'm from Bangladesh. I've seen something similar like that bride. There was a populer shop called shabu shop in Bangladesh. The owner's name was shabu, she used to sell whitening products. A woman who was soon to be a bride approached her and purcheesed products from her. After using those her skin was burnt, the groom cancelled the wadding, later the woman took legal action against shabu and authorities banned all of her outlets.
All beauticians should first experiment any new makeup style on themselves and then use on their customers.. and the customers also before applying any new style of makeup application must have to ask that makeup artist whether they have experiment it on their face or not... if not then the customers should strictly deny them.
Some products may suit to someone and some may not ask mua to do patch test and then continue this the best way

When she started the session, I started feeling burning sensation on my cheeks and later it left a mark on one of my cheeks. It took around 20 days to recover. I came to know later that my skin was sensitive and allergic to some products as it was my first time with any chemicals on my face. So I suggest to properly know your allergies before going for skincare sessions.
