The Value of Intensive Interaction at Woolley Wood

In 2013, Woolley Wood school employed Matthew Laurie to co-ordinate and develop Intensive Interaction, a socially interactive approach to communicating with a person who is at the earliest stages of communication development. Over the last two years a sustainable community of practice at the school has gradually developed, involving the staff, management and parents. This video tells the story of the impact of a consistent home and school approach to communication development upon Hallemah, a pupil in class 6.
