My wife loss her job when a council run nursery which was inside a sure start centre was closed. That centre which is still 'open' is now a hollow shell compared to what it used to be. The children they cared for had a lot of issues which they could staff for and support in which a for private nursery cant to be expected to realistically expected to afford to support. That nursery was CLOSED BY a LABOUR CONTROLLED COUNCIL. This was 4 years ago before your time. I just hope that you can really follow through with your plans as you have outlined.
My wife now runs a private day nursery and is really struggling to get extra support for her children with additional needs. This is due complete lack of funding for private day nurseries. Her children come from one of the most deprived areas of the uk and getting these children support with speech and language is real issue. These children without support will get left behind. Please do not forget about these private childcare providers.

Frances Lilley Thank you so much. Do you know if *ALL* London Boroughs are included in this election, and also, if you've already registered to vote before, do you need to again?

Don't know about London Boroughs as I live in the Midlands. I think it is easy to check if you are currently registered by contacting your local council just to make sure .

Just sayin Yes, all London Boroughs. If you’ve not moved since you registered and are still at same address you should be okay, but doesn’t hurt to double check and make sure.
