VALENTINE'S DAY RECIPES:
BE MINE ICE CREAM CONE TREATS:
Flat bottom cones
White melting chocolate
Sprinkles
Cellophane bags
Valentine's Day candy to fill.
Melt the chocolate and dip the top part of the cone. Roll in sprinkles immediately and then allow to dry before filling.
HEARTTHROB SNACK MIX
1 cup Chex cereal
1 cup yogurt covered raisins
1 cup dried fruit of your choice
1 cup Valentine's Day M&M's optional
Mix together and serve in a fancy cup!
CUPID'S CHARCUTERIE BOARD
Add all your favorite store bought snacks with a mix of a few items you "dressed up" by dipping rice crispy treats, strawberry wafers, and pretzel rods in white chocolate. The options are endless!
SWEETHEART FLOAT
Red candy melts
Sprinkles
Ice Cream
Strawberry Soda
Whipped Cream
Marshmallows
Cherry
Roll the rim of your glass in melted candy melts, and then roll in sprinkles. Allow to dry ( 10 min in fridge). Layer ice cream and strawberry soda. Top with whipped cream and cherry. Add marshmallow hearts to straw for an added touch!
BE STILL MY HEART DESSERT DIP
1 8oz package cream cheese
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
mix until smooth, then add
1 box Little Debbie Heart Cakes, and mix until slightly lumpy.
Fold in 8oz container of whipped cream thawed.
Serve with your favorite dippers. ( cookies, gram crackers, etc).
LOVE BITES
1 cup oats
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sunflower seed kernels
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or candy's optional.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl
Roll into ping pong size balls and place on parchment paper. Place in fridge for 15 mins to firm up and enjoy!
Store in refrigerator in air tight container for up to 5 days.
CHERRY ALMOND CRUMBLE
1 cup cherry pie filling
1 cup cherry preserves
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1/4 cup dried cherries
Mix together
Spray 4 ramekins with PAM and place on cookie sheet
Divide mix evenly in ramekins
Next, mix together
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
Melt 5 TBS of butter and combine, then spread over cherry mix.
Bake on 400 F for 20 mins.
Top with ice cream or whipped topping

Fun video with some delicious goodies! I liked the cone idea and filling them with goodies and wrapping them in cellophane! Last one was a great dessert for a Valentine Dinner. My mom made Valentine's Day so special by cooking a special dinner and dessert. My dad came home from work with a large heart shaped box filled with chocolates for mom and two small heart shaped boxes filled with chocolate for me and my sister and we each received a Valentine card! I am up there in age and still think of those Valentine Days that my daddy made so special!

Definitely for a kid or adult with a big sweet tooth. All of us fit that description once in a while. I’m the grandma and great grandma and always keep ice cream at my house for them. It’s a real treat.

Im a Sandra Lee fan to. My most memorable was her blue snowflake cookies and her homemade beautiful Christmas tree centerpiece. Made out of cardboard covered in aluminum foil. Cake Icing was put all over it and then she applied peppermint candies red hots just tons of different candies. It was beautiful and she always made things that were easy. O my goodness now I want to watch her. Thank you for bringing her up.

I just figured out who Jason reminds me of, Sergeant Carter on Gomer Pyle, Lol. I love the way you make the ordinary special. These are cute and I’m sure yummy treats. The cherry crumble will be easy for me to make for my hubby, as I already have cherry pie filling and cherry jam I canned. It sounds really good!

Have to tell you a story, I have a heart shaped cake pan but this one year I decided to do something different. I put red jello in the pan and when it was hard I was going to turn it out on a white plate for a large red heart. I worked nights so I wasn't home for our kids supper. I went to turn the jello out and it broke right down the middle. I felt so bad cause I wanted something special for the kids and hubby. Then it came to me I wrote a note saying my heart was broken cause I couldn't be there with them. It worked 😊

( EITHER CHOCOLATE OR REGULAR), 1 LG PKG INSTANT PUDDING, ( I USE CHOCOLATE BUT YOU CAN USE VANILLA OR ANY OTHER FLAVOR DEPENDING ON YOUR TASTE BUDS AND PREFERANCE) 1 TUB THAWED COOL WHIP, 1 HARD SHELL TOPPING ( FIND IN ICE CREAM TOPPING SECTION - FLAVOR IS YOUR OPTION)
I USE ALL CHICOLATE FOR THIS RECIPE BUT YOU CAN USE ANY FLAVOR PUDDING AND EVEN MIX IN CANNED FRUIT DEPENDING ON SEASON AND WHAT YOU WANT)
MIX PUDDING AS DIRECTED AND ADD TUB OF COOL WHIP.
IN A 9 X 12 DEEP DISH PLACE DOWN 1 LAYER OF GRAHAM CRACKERS. SPREAD LAYER OF PUDDING MIX AND ADD ANOTHER LAYER OF GRAHAM CRACKERS.
