    Hello there Jeff, thanks for the Patreon shout-out...
    I cannot help, but now feeling a little shallow, for mentioning it.. But it's great to able to say, I'm part of the club...!!!
    As for the shop progress, and segment content, I love it.. Keep it up.. PS: I don't think many of us care a hoot, about yer elbow thing, I'm just glad 😊 you can still do this hobby thing physically .. The heck with those kind of people.. God bless...

      Nothing wrong with getting a callout. You help keep the channel going! Not shallow at all.

      I agree with Joanne! Please ask! We are trying to make things better and more for the Patreon folks. I am starting to do updates there on the page, Andrew will be doing updates weekly on our shoots. I struggle with asking for money, but this thing is hard to keep going with out your help. Folks like you are what help me help Andrew. Without that support, I'd stull be a one man editing band and the studio space would be getting done so much slower.

    THANK YOU for saying what everyone should know. There is no source for sheet metal that's going to fit perfectly without adjustment every time. There never has been.

    Hi Jeff and Cam! Glad you are back Cam, nice to see you sir!!! I just got my Scott Drake 67-68 3 bulb taillight conversion and installed it all yesterday from CJ Pony. NPD does not stock it. Did not want LED. Got new lens from NPD. Conversion kit was only $44 and lens $22 with gaskets. I blacked out the bezzles, (painted) and it is beautiful. Easy simple wiring. FYI

    When I got my 67 Mustang from my cousin it was a buy one get one deal. So I had to take a 67 Mustang "parts" car in the deal. My Late Dad and I took off everything that would unbolt from the car it looked like a theft recovery from a chop shop when we got done. So if and I hope I never do but in case of some kind of accident I have original Ford sheet metal to fix what ever comes up.

      Always good to have the original stuff! Parts cars are a boon for sure.

    Jeff & Cam, anytime you want to put on a replacement 1967 driver's door due to the Sierra grain being sanded off (thanks to the body shop) let me know.

      Well, at least I know where the car is.

    Thanks for the video, your whole video is like the exact same problems I have with my 67.
    Afternarket driver side fender and headlamp bucket fit horribly, aftermarket hood sits too high one side, front edges dont line up, hood hinges are garbage..
    Whats weird though is passenger side all fits really good, driver side not at all.

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  7 месяцев назад

      The hood problem may be an issue with the hood hinge or adjustment. The 6566 headlight buckets are bad, no good way to put it. I would check your car for accident damage on the side that's not fitting well. Sometimes it can be subtle and little hard to find.

    Every 65-68 repro fender I have messed with has had the bottom over bent at the front and rear. There are at least 3 different manufacturers of the 65-66 and they all have areas where they fit and where they don't and they are all different. The newest versions are good and don't need major work to fit. But I say the same thing as you in that the factory stuff didn't line up perfect either. When you look at untouched lowmileage examples the factory fit was really bad and they didn't even try to align the panels at the factory in many cases.
    I blame my grandfather for the chrysler issues in the 50s and 60s ish as he worked at the stamping plant when he got back from the Korean war.

      LOL lets let Grandad have a break. He beat the Commies, fenders seemed a little weak after that I am sure. I agree too that ain't nothing perfect with anything.

    Noticed you wore gloves AFTER the fact. Been there, done that, bought the Band-Aid. :) Definitely want to see a video on the hinges, especially on that aftermarket one you mentioned. The factory originals were notoriously weak, clearly not meant to last very long.

    Im trying to fit a used 1962 Falcon drivers door(2 door). Passenger side dropped in almost perfectly. Drivers side, not so much. Its gonna take some time.

      I don't know why one side of the car ALWAYS does that to me too.

    Glad to see more progress. Looking forward to seeing more ranchero and the hardtop bird? Any more parts being thrown at the galaxie?

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  2 года назад +1

      We need to go get the Galaxie here soon. The hardtop and the Ranchero are about to get serious. We have one job for a client on the Ranchero and then we can move on to the frame rail and finally getting the engine into the Car/Truck.

    Could you spray undercoating on the inside of the fender before mounting the fender????

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  2 года назад

      You should put some body shutz under there on the area in the wheel well where the tires run. This will help with pings from frocks on the road.

    My wife and I have talked about replacing her 1965 Mustang hood. What do you think about NPD's quality for 1965 Mustang parts? What is your thought of Billet hood hinges? Appreciate the safety tip regarding wearing gloves with body parts. Thanks again for another informative video!!!

    • @AutoRestoMod

      The hood and fenders are great. I'd try and find a set of headlight buckets and eyebrows used.
