All of these coins do nothing but allow people to take out fradulent loans and debt backed by literally nothing. All the loans and leverage to push bitcoin and eth to these prices literally have no cash flow or assets that could ever be paid back unless the price just goes up forever.

I just watched a movie-documentary on Netflix called "Trust No One: The Hunt for The Crypto King", it's about a Canadian Crypto exchange called "QuadrigaCX" and it's founder Gerald Cotten (also knows as Jerry Cotten). This guy is just as bad as SBF, and there many parallels between Jerry Cotten (now supposedly deceased) and SBF. It's like SBF actually took the playbook of Jerry Cotten and made some tweaks. SBF's fraud was just on a much larger scale.

Riddle me this why do people have to remove their crypto off exchanges in order to keep it safe? Imagine having to remove your stock from a brokerage or money from the bank to keep it safe? Having to remove crypto from the exchanges may keep your crypto safe but is a vote of no confidence and really makes the argument for regulation.
Its a pretty much the opposite of traditional banking. Where your money is safer in a bank normally. Well in Crypto the bank is the exchanges like FTX. You technically own the Crypto but don't have the keys. Its risky to hold on these exchanges., Or you could put it on an online wallet where you actually own the keys and is secure or even into a cold Wallet where it is located on a drive in physical form. so the closer the Crypto is to you, the more secure it is.

Self-custody for Bitcoin is much easier and safer than it used to be. Hardware wallets like BitBox02, and the steel plate seed backups will outlast even a nuclear war, just like how the Internet was designed to be.

I just watched a movie-documentary on Netflix called "Trust No One: The Hunt for The Crypto King", it's about a Canadian Crypto exchange called "QuadrigaCX" and it's founder Gerald Cotten (also knows as Jerry Cotten). This guy is just as bad as SBF, and there many parallels between Jerry Cotten (now supposedly deceased) and SBF. It's like SBF actually took the playbook of Jerry Cotten and made some tweaks. SBF's fraud was just on a much larger scale.

Riddle me this why do people have to remove their crypto off exchanges in order to keep it safe? Imagine having to remove your stock from a brokerage or money from the bank to keep it safe? Having to remove crypto from the exchanges may keep your crypto safe but is a vote of no confidence and really makes the argument for regulation.

Its a pretty much the opposite of traditional banking. Where your money is safer in a bank normally. Well in Crypto the bank is the exchanges like FTX. You technically own the Crypto but don't have the keys. Its risky to hold on these exchanges., Or you could put it on an online wallet where you actually own the keys and is secure or even into a cold Wallet where it is located on a drive in physical form. so the closer the Crypto is to you, the more secure it is.
@@IAMPOPP CEX are way more secured in that sense. If you lose your crypto in a CEX, the chances of recovery is way higher than losing that in a random online wallet. The support, facilitation of documented execution of crypto trades within internal systems. You name it.

The exchanges have tried. Every exchange that has walked into the SEC has walked out with fines and lawsuits with no path forward for legal registration. I think the SEC was working with FTX to blow up the crypto market. Gary Gensler worked with a few people associated with FTX. The CFO of FTX used to work under Gary Gensler. The CEO of Alameda Research is the daughter of Gary's boss when he was at MIT.
