This is one of the best surf videos out there - no shitty music, just the sound of the waves, and props to you for getting that close while staying in control at the same time. One thing that would be cool to see would be for the camera to stay with anyone who wipes out, maybe on a different video, to check how the jet ski rescue works, etc.
guessing this is Himalayas & Laniakea ... we lived on the rip in-between in the 60’s so these were my breaks when my size small :))) ... and we did see it one time this big ... but horrible conditions ... so I am stunned by the absolute perfect conditions and gorgeous waves ... rare NS jewels to behold ... beautiful footage free of stupid music! ... mahalo nui! ... no place like NS ... miss it but NOT all the crowds! ... amount of jet skis has grown insane!
Just when huge big wave spots around the world push it to unreal limits.... Hawaii goes and does this! The perfection at this size just proves that Hawaii is the home of surfing.

I can't believe that I swam on the North Shore in these waves as a child 8 to 14 years old. Tell that I'm old I don't think I could ever again. But oh how I love and miss it
That looks like a dream session Fillipe! Warm water!!! Some serious bombs! Those big ones surely look like a humbling experience. How was the rip? It reminds of one of those next level sessions. Like surfing 6' often and then finally riding proper 8'. This looked liked 10-12 foot surfer could get a 15 footer, but might be taxed by 25 footer. Looked so clean but that bowl got some teeth. Very beautiful footages. Would be better if the slow-mos were used on a replay and let at least one sequence go at normal speed, because it's all about the feeling of being out there among these amazing waves.

I always watch the ocean stuff riding the heavy waves with heavy music like SoaD or Delta Parole or with relaxing music videos in background. If crazy like then always heavy tho

We measure waves from the back here in Hawaii. Not the front. So if it’s 10-15ft. It’s 20-30ft faces. So it’s double. 🤙
