Hi, this is my second channel. ruclips.net/channel/UCg5dNRcy3kRv46zYjZD9NHgvideos. there is a little more video 🤘🤘🤘 For those who are interested in what material I sculpt www.monstermakers.com/monster-clay/
It really helped me seeing you fail the head the first time through. I tend to give up on art when things don’t go right for me but this just goes to show sticking with it and taking your time pays off immensely. I learned a lot from this. Perseverance is key. And reusing the fail was really smart. I liked that.
I agree. Even if a drawing takes me days and I want to throw my sketchbook at the wall, I'm always more satisfied with it being imperfect but finished than unfinished.
I’ve had times where I hated my piece but then I just kept going and erasing what needed erasing and adding more detail and I’ve ended up making things that impressed even myself! Never ever ever give up. I have felt like ripping up so many drawings etc but I never did and they always ended up looking much better
To see a simple pile of clay turn into something extraordinary.... Is incredible to me. You have a great gift. I look forward to watching many more of your works.
I have no clue how anyone has the patience to work with this type of clay. The way it droops and sags, constantly moving out of the position you want it in. I'd have thrown it out the window 2 minutes in. Kudos.
Stecca, I don't know how many cadavers you took apart to become so well versed in anatomy but damn, it was bloody well worth it. And to see how you strip away only to rebuild the musculature is fascinating, daunting and brilliant. Absolutely awesome!
I was like : " But WTF he's doing ?" WTF he's doing ?!" seeing him put some cutter inside the clay, then "This is so looooong" then finaly "oO"... Real talent, Real power. Congrats.
I know it's Monster Clay that hardens as it cools, but I was still surprised at no armature! Looking at the comments, I'm not the only one. But it kept it soft enough and flexible for when you need to re-position this or that. Impressive! I could see a little of the struggle near the beginning, when the core of clay was still rather warm and soft, how it kept sagging. But as the Monster Clay cooled and hardened, it kept its shape better, and you could carve and add and sculpt all of the details. Using the loop tool to carve thin noodles for the veins was great! I've always wasted my time rolling out snakes; it had never occurred to me to carve out noodles with the loop tool before. Handy tip! I love how loose and easy and sculpt-y it was through the whole process, and even at the end, it was not ENTIRELY polished; still a little "dirty" with a few tool marks and evidence of its clay-ness. I dig that a lot, especially for a maquette like this. Gorgeous work!!
ive never seen someone sculpt such large pieces with no frame. idk how you get your final product to turn out so well with the constant leaning of the clay under its own weight.. but you did it and it turned out so good. great work
Maybe using the word effortlessly was the wrong phrasing. Your artwork is one of a kind, and the only word I can come up with is awesome, absolutely awesome man !!
Damm man, you've a photografic memory unbelieveble.your anatomic knowing is impressive.you' re absolutely incredible!!! I'm your fã here from Brazil.👍👍👍👍👍
Only one question.......WHO THE HELL CLICKS ON THUMBS DOWN , WHAT WRONG WITH PEOPLES BRAIN. do they really have to diss everyone with more talent then themselves ? Society is truly ducked ..... great job kid ,don’t let the idiots of this world affect you . You are awesome.
Fascinating. I love to watch the methods and tools other sculptors use. It's especially interesting how you work with the Monster Clay compared to Cyril Roquelaine. Wonderful job m'friend. [For those who don't know about this Monster Clay, it's an oil based clay with a lot of sort of waxy properties. When it's warmed up it's soft, but when it cools it gets quite rigid - sort of like wax does. It can be melted down and reused over and over.]
Talk crap on youtube = 1 million followers. Show off your incredible talent = 60K. This was amazing, although the same music for an hour was a bit grating! Subscribed!
You are the Bob Ross of sculpting. I'm like, what he doin, why he..wait a sec; what kind of witchcraft is this. I'm thinking of buying some materials, who cares if it's looks bad. It's seems rather Zen like, might help with my anxiety. Thanks for sharing your amazing work and inspiring others. Cheers from Canada.
Incredible work! More challenging to do without armature and you make it look so easy. And those grumpy haters that downliked this video...even if God himself posted his own video, they would have downliked that too. No matter who, some grumps just won’t be pleased as they choose to be miserable.
The lack of armature wires stressed me out a lot and yes I know it's monster clay but still a base wire would hold him upright while carving but either way works I guess because this came out amazing good job and maybe consider a DC series?
This is one of the best videos out on sculpting. I as a student and sculpture can appreciate and see how you provide anatomy definition and muscle tone on each body part. Thanks for taking the time to put this great instructional material. Sincerely
Wow, that was incredible! Amazing stuff stecca & thanks for letting us see the final sculpt properly without banners popping up advertising your next video all over the final reveal, ha haaa.
I appreciate the long presentation at the end. Many videos show somebody spending hours on sculpting and in the end you only get a glimpse at the finished work

Clay sculpture of wolverine, .....
No metal armature inside - irony at its best .
This comment deserves to be pinned.

@@bandbam9587 Adamantium IS a metal alloy. So your correction on metal armature is amiss.
@@bandbam9587 hes talkin bout the metal frame that keeps the clay from falling

this is not sculpting but it is modeling 😉
