I lost three and won two. Lot to learn from this. They hammered into me to bid the majors if I have them, so I played 4H instead of 3NT in board 1. In 6C, I should have forced out the diamond K like you. Did not occur to me.
I'm sad I got the hearts wrong on board 1. I also found 3N (1c - 1h - 2h - 3N) but sadly didn't bring it home. I ducked a spade early in play and gave the game away. Opps correctly switched to diamonds and ducked round 1 to me. I correctly figured out W was shorter in hearts through the play, and finessed right into Qx. Didn't think to lead J from hand intending to rise A; you got a friendly cover there. My only loss. Went 4-1 for a 40 pointer. Chances to tie for the win today! Board 2 is sad for you. You deserve a top, and partner just refused to start trumps. I ended up opening 1c a little light, and bot put me in 3N immediately. No enemy bidding. Relatively easy hand to make 5. Board 3 I went for max damage with 6N over the pick a slam. I bid 3d over 3c, which may have been a factor in avoiding the deadly diamond lead. Board 4, I stuck in the 2d overcall, mostly to lead direct. LHO bid 3c, partner bid 3d, and RHO bid 4c, AP. Got a spade ruff for down 1. Board 5, I started with a double and bid 3s over 3c thinking it was a strong club raise. Turns out it's just a general force. Partner then bid 5d! So clearly they are 5-5. Well, I can't play in diamonds, so the bidding end played me to 6c, and I figured I was off two aces.... Ah lead and partner's heart void made me fall out of my chair. Made 7 easily with 2-2 trumps, but it makes 7 after that lead assuming you take the marked ruffing finesse for the Qd.
Board 2: Gotta thank robot for mis-defending 2HX. I opened 1C and North went for 3NT immediately, so I never had a chance to play 2HX. Board 4: I overcalled 2D instead of doubling. Opponents contested to 4C for down 1. Board 5: After doubling and partner bidding 3C, I bid 3H and was able to sign-off in 3NT. 3 wins and 1 draw for me, losing board 1.
Well that was a rollercoaster ride - board 1 I messed up by not taking the plain spade finesse - so because i didn't take it - i felt I had to take it later on in case it did work for you! I think board 2 the robots did you on that defence - different bidding where my robot bid 2NT over the XX. Board 3 I didn't even think about the overtrick in 6Clubs - I was too happy about not being in 6NT. Board 4 I overcalled rather than doubling and then got too high in 4C. Board 5 I found 4NT which scores better than 5C.
I have two wins on this but I dont feel good about them. I got the game on board two when I realised the play over landy was not what I thought it would be, so I just bid 3NT. On board 5, I had the 4d ace ask up my sleeve, to which partner bid 5h (one and a void) pushing me into slam. It turns out I'm a filthy cheat and did not alert my bid to the robot, who decided to lead the ace of hearts. Im not 100% sure how good the slam actually was, probably would not have bid it if I knew off AS AH plus the void at the level where I had the option. Your 3NT there was not actually a power bid in the Lia 2/1 - I agree it should so extras, but I think its just showing a good spade stop, so over 4D slam try I dislike the fast game bid.
Board 2. I found no way to show heart stop with no spade stop. Stupid system. I want to play 3NT at this vulnerability, not defend, but the robot system forced me into doubling 2H. I never got the chance to ask partner to bid 3NT with a spade stop. God forbid I keep us out of 3NT missing 5 top spades. I got more tricks that Peter, but it was because my robot partner played better defense. North wins diamond after west covers. He plays a low heart and I win the Ten. I shift to a club and partner wins and plays the Kh. We drew trump and scored ELEVEN tricks. As for Peter's result. Get a better partner.
I found it odd that the robot bid clubs on the last hand with 5-5 in the minors. A diamond response might make it harder to get to slam.

B3. Might as well play DQ on opening lead, yields DK cover.
lol - wish i'd done that completely messed that board up!

my bot actually bid 2NT over XX - so i bid 3NT.
Bd3: I bid 6nt, they didn't lead a diamond!
I was too happy to avoid 6NT that I forgot to make 7Clubs!
Pete on the first hand yesterday why does Lia open 1NT on mit play and 1 club at yours😬 its not fair and extreemly irritating 🤔
perhaps you have you system settings on differently? I think Pete plays the straight 2/1. Under preferences.
@@denizkonuralp4563 i’m also playing 2/1, thats what Borgers me the most🤔
it's happened to me before, must be some randomness they've introduced into the bots to make things interesting (or in this case, infuriating :)
@@denizkonuralp4563 Thanks ✌️
