Welcome to my playthrough of the storymode (The Subspace Emissary) from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl (or SSBB for short). I still can't believe they completely got rid of the Adventure Mode in Smash 4. Not even a short one like in Melee, nothing at all. It's one of the many reasons I will always prefer Brawl.
man in my opinion all we need is classic mode its not long u can do it and probably 15-30 not 5:00 or 3-5 days and its acctualt fun advture mode is way to long and i find it not fun at all

I know I'm gonna prefer Smash 4 for the multiplayer aspect, along with some other aspects. But I'll be damned if I can't play Subspace Emissary, cause I do plan to get Brawl.

1:50:17 I just realized Dedede wasn't trying to steal them. He was trying to hide them from the other bad guys and when everyone else falls, they would turn them back to normal. He gave a look when he realized he would have to give his own badge up to Zelda realizing she would've been stronger.

This mode was so fun. I've always wondered why Nintendo didn't add this mode in Smash 4. I mean they tried with the Smash Run mode in the 3DS version of Smash 4, but that still wasn't enough.
They didn't add it in smash 4 cause some douche spoiled the plot.

1irishshark Me. I was playing through the entire story just waiting to see Sonic (He is my favorite video game character so now you know why). I was just going crazy saying "WHERE IS HE!". When i finally saw him I was just yelling in anger for like an hour. My dad woke up asking me what's wrong and when I told him he sent me to my room. I am still pissed to this day.

I always thought Brawl's soundtrack was the best out of them all and the story was perfect. I have really good fond memories playing through the game.
The thing I love from Subspace Emissary is how famous characters from entirely different videogames styles interact with each other not just fighting in a stage. Let’s hope in Ultimate we have something similar!

I beat all levels of the Subspace Emissary on intense mode so I could feel the glory of true 100%. Spent two years.......trying over and over again every night before I went to sleep.
Tabuu is HARD on intense mode!

We had to give away out Wii about three years ago because my bro wanted an Xbox 360. So many years later, I get the fourth game, and I just hated the fact that there wasn't a story mode. So I came back here for nostalgia's sake ;)

Villain is master core obviously
level 1 is similar to brawls level 1
level two is fire emblem themed with robin and lucina fighting against that one bad guy from awakening (the one in the opening cutscene) they start losing and marth and ike come to save them
then we go to olimar flying off of a planet when his ship is shot down by star fox and he crash lands on a planet where rosalina happens to be. Rosa helps him out and they hitch a ride on a warp star with kirby to beat fox and falco. Then wolf shows up and captures rosalina, so oli and starfox have a common enemy so they team up and stop wolf who runs away before the final blow is dealt, taking rosa with him. Ill come up with the rest some other time
But Wolf isn't in Smash anymore.

Basically put in short everyone wants each other’s amiibos so they fight each other for them and then this god thingey wants all their amiibos so they defeat him. But honestly this is really fun to watch. Probably best story mode thing in all smash games.

1:11:07 My second favorite part of the game with Link and the Master Sword. Never get tired of those scenes where Link pulls out the Master Sword in the Zelda games, they’re pretty epic moments.
As soon as I clicked it gave me a huge wave of nostalgia from the select screen to the characters to the story ultimate is great but for me it can never top brawl
TBH, when I look at Subspace, the level design isn't really spectacular. It works. It's kind of like Kirby, if you think about it. The level design was never the KEY focus, but it's trying to not retread itself so you say something like "have I been here before?" But it's centered more around beating the shit out of everything...and I like it that way. :) Personally, I would like something akin to Tropical Freeze. Really great environments, with spectacular level design. I'd love to go through Tropical Freeze with Smash Mario, or Smash DK.

This game was huge, and no need to pay more for extra content. There was the fights, the history itself and collecting trophies. Me and my brother had a lot of fun and spend many, many hours of gaming with "Super Smash Bros: Brawl". And least but not last, the main theme is like an anthem for players around the world.

You don't have to. There are TOTALLY remnants of a story mode in the game. The biggest pieces of evidence are movies showing character introductions, and the Great Cave Offensive level being WAY too large.

What I like about the smash bros Subspace emissary is that I get to see characters from different video games making contact to each other.

Let's hope that Nintendo hears us, and makes The Subspace Emissary as DLC for Smash Ultimate. They should make the enemy models nicer graphics, and make new character interactions with the new fighters. Also, add dialogue to the characters like they did with World of Light. Here’s some ideas:

The Subspace Emissary and the soundtrack is the only thing that impressed me about this game. The watered down multiplayer brawls is what blew it for me.
Just gonna predict it now, in the new smash direct that revealed Simon, Richter, Chrom, Dark Samus and King K Rool, there was a blurred out icon in the main menu.
It's most likely a new Subspace Emissary (or the same type of thing with a new name, why is this called Subspace Emissary anyway? Who is the Subspace Emissary, Ganondorf? Tabuu?)
