I saw Ben at the Palce last week. I thought the show was enjoyable, but nothing special. The hideous shag carpet set, Ben's appalling fashion sense (shocking for a gay man on Broadway), the awful shmata he wore during Maybe This Time...all of this could have been remedied easily and the show would have been more of a Broadway worthy event. 15 shows is also a bit of a stretch for a performer who is not that well known outside of the Broadway community.

Too bad the run at the Palace was a bust. Sorry - Ben needs to disappear for a few years then attempt a comeback. Overkill.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Funny joke! Sold-out audience full of mesmerized, enthusiastic attendees the night I was there--and an incredible show. Lots of media coverage. Guest appearances from so many legends. He's doing just fine. Enjoy your alternate universe.

@@seapumpkin The shows only sold out when TKTS had tickets for a 50% discount.

@@seapumpkin Wasn't a sold out run - in fact the ticket sales were considered disappointing by all accounts and the theatre regrets allowing the weak singer to open the theatre. Most consider it even worse than the Dear Evan Hanson movie. It is America that lives in an alternative universe daily...and I guess you are part of that world too!
