lol "Grow up" came on tv 2 minuets ago and i though "what's that skate boarding game i used to play the shit outta with the really good music years ago" now im just dropping nostalgia bombs left right and fucking centre.
Madden 03 to 10 had good ones. 11 and later I’m not a fan of (13 had that orchestrated score which makes me not want to play that one much) I have all the Madden Games from 98 to 10 and 13
Madden 19 is the 2nd year in a row where the entire soundtrack is rap/hip-hop, and it's the worst kind of rap. I just mute it and listen to my own music.

@@shapelessshapefromthebay8759 That's because Jason Boyd and Brandon Boyd are brothers...Jason is lead singer of audiovent and Brandon is lead singer for incubus
that ending part "cause I'm not dying" gives me chills it's so fckn great and passionate. I love these guys. Jason Boyd is a great singer and front person, great moves too!
Pretty sure their lead guitar player is the brother of Mike Einzeiger, also of Incubus. I was into both Incubus and Audiovent when I was 17. Which was a long time ago.
These guys played before Saliva in BMT TX when i was 17. I'm 36. It started raining and Saliva (who I didn't like then nor ever) refused to play). We booked them off the stage and these dudes came back out and played and fucking killed it! Every one who was in the front was covered in mud by the end of the set. Mad props!!
i still have this album in my cd collection somewhere. bought it after just after it came out. this stayed in my cd player for quite some time. fucking awesome.
I originally was told this was incubus back in the day. The voice sounded familiar at the time so, like McFly I believed it, only to find out years later it was the younger brother of Brandon and the band was Audiovent. This song really rocked. And of course they dissapeard like a magician.
@KarelessKota Dumbass, he literally had long dread locks and smelled like patchouli in high school/college/beginning of Incubus’ career. The dude was born a hippy.
These guys are the younger brothers of Incubus. Their sound came from the early '90s, and they were a breath of fresh air by 2002 because real rock was mostly dead by then.
Except back then people were saying the same things you just said, about bands like this, while waxing poetic about older music just like you are right now.
@@limowreck2612 really? Rock was dead you say? That's strange, because it wasn't. It died here in the us around 2007 when Kanye won his feud with 50 cent regarding their record sales, which caused rap to skyrocket to the fore front of pop culture again. Either you're mental, or a kid. Heck por que no los dos?
Not only a great song, but this was on a great album. I love the video too. Just a band jamming, and the singer gettin' jiggy with it. At the time it seemed as though I was living it. I still listen.
Heard this song when I was very young and have remembered the melody my whole life. I've searched every 90s/2000s rock playlist and couldn't find it. I literally just found it using Google assistant by playing the melody into the phone using a guitar 😂
Kiddos - it’s not just Brandon Boyd’s sibling Jason in the band. The amazing guitarist of incubus is named MIKE EINZIGER, and his brother Ben is also in this band. The more you know.
splashdown rides gone wild was one of my favorite games when i was younger. i still play it actually lol. i remember this song was one it and i played it all the time
God this brings back memories. First time I saw them was in a small venue here in Memphis thats on Beale St. Im pretty sure they were touring with Theory of a Deadman but im not totally sure. All I can remember is how much better they were than the headliner. Became an instant fan that night. Must have been 15 years ago or something lol.
Still listening in 2024! Love it!
Me too!
Hell yeah, such a great album
Yea you and everyone else here
me too! there was so much incredible rock music from the late 90s to the early 2010s.
Such an underrated song…still blasting this in 2022!

20 years later from Madden 2003 this has aged like fine wine
And brings me back to those training camp days

Brings me back to Madden 2003.
Such an underrated band! Dirty Sexy Knights in Paris is still one of my favorite albums.
Back when Madden actually had good soundtracks..
yes
john gibson the Pop music and rap music killed it

It's pretty damn funny to me that this is in the soundtrack for both Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure, and BMX XXX

This song is pure energy
Lyrics _ The Energy - Audiovent
Every now and then I think about you
And it makes me, it breaks me
Out of you and into me, I'll make it
So take a look at what you do to my head
When you're leaving, I'm breathing
Out of me and into you, I feel sick
I feel sick
Now that you're leaving
It complicates our lives
But I am the reason
That I will stay alive
We are the energy
We are the same as you
Take everything you need
We are the answer to
The broken, breaking through
Take everything from me
Every now and then I dream about you
I've lost the feeling, it's dead skin
I will never be dependent again
And every now and then I think about you
It's bringing me closer to closure
Every now and then I know it's over
It's over
Now that you're leaving
It complicates our lives
But I am the reason
That I will stay alive
We are the energy
We are the same as you
Take everything you need
We are the answer to
The broken, breaking through
Take everything from me
We are the energy
We are the same as you
Take everything you need
We are the answer to
The broken, breaking through
Take everything from me
Cause I'm not dying
No I'm not dying

First discovered this song on one of the Madden football games awhile back. Still jamming to this.
Apparently they just got back together! Such an underrated band.
I remember this song being badass 5 minutes ago. This song is totally kickass, much better than it ever got credit for.
the moment there's a radio station playing our music and calling them oldies. that's when we made it.
I cant wait for that
I wish they would get back together. Tons of talent here. Dirty knights was a great album.
They're reuniting for the Hoobastank 15th anniversary of The Reason and they have a show at The Roxy in January 2019
Probably my favorite one hit song out there. Still rocks hard to this day.
This song gets me so pumped up 😎
One of a kind, some of the best music of my youth!!

I love the hard guitar riff of this song especially when he is singing.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time! Too bad it didn't last! This song had it all, great riffs, great vocals, and it rocked!

Nothing like being in Olliewood or Andy's room and just... going ballistic with high combos. Man the 2000s was different.
How did this band not get huge?
Just had these guys as guests on my podcast!! I’ll post link to the episode once it’s live if anyone is interested!!
