Project Overlanders VLOG 5 - CA Coast - Carr Fire

This trip took us North West on the California coast to fern canyon. On our way home we got stuck by the Massive Carr fire that wiped out 1000 homes in Shasta County.

I recognize where you were on 299, 101, Davidson Rd, Gold Bluff beach, and fern canyon. And then the fire... I spent 45 days working the Carr Fire. Most of it on Trinity mountain road, where we cut fire line from French Gulch to the water line of Trinity Lake. Great video, very cool to see familiar places.
