Thank you for watching. Don't forget to support your local racetrack!!
Could listen to stories from Billy forever. Thanks!
Very interesting listen. Wasn't a Billy fan at Flemington when I first started attending but, quickly grew to love his racing style. You knew your guy was gonna move up every time you watched him race. That makes it all worth going and cheering. My fondest memory hands down was one night in the 90's at Georgetown. Billy was put to the back during the race for some reason but, came back to win! The announcer interviewed him and, after sticking the checkered flag in the mud in victory lane he says " I guess they wanted a show so, I gave them one." Never forgot that night. That and those crappy, 4" off the dirt grandstands.
Whenever I was able to catch Senior in live action he was driving the Barker Bus car. alway's expected a night of excitement at OCFS when he pulled in. There's no substitute foe experience and knowledge. I think there's a ton of drivers can learn alot just from this video alone as well as more than just the racing Industry.
I wish I had half his knowledge I’m starting out racing in my 50’s been around racing my whole life and finally have a chance to race a modified I’ll take your dad’s advice anytime
It's great to see the greatest driver still willing to help everybody and anybody become a better driver and person!!! His interviews are priceless!!!
Well that's a debate ...yes definitely a legend,,but Brett Hearn has 920 feature wins
Mandee, I think your dad is absolutely a wonderful person and I so enjoy listening to all of his wonderful stories and great knowledge when it comes to racing. He does not hold back and just says what he thinks and that is so refreshing.
Thank you so much!
Great podcast. Saturday nights at Flemington watching Billy The Kid in the L, 5,126,76 crush the field in the feature.
I love watching Billy pauch race I remember him back in 80's race 121 modified! I wonder what is his favorite dirt modified to drive for ?
I truly appreciate Billy Pauch. He's been my favorite for many years. Such a easy going person. He thinks highly of his fans.
He loves all of his fans and wouldn't be where he is without them!!
The one thing that stood out to me that your Dad said was, basically if you want to be good, you have to work on the car to get know it. I totally agree! I'm an older racer (64) running FWD cars at Grandview. Yeah I know I can't beat the young guys, but that's not why I race. It keeps me "young" and involved in racing. The hope is to pass my knowledge of building these cars on to my grandson who wants to drives in 2 years. But I told him exactly what your dad said Mandy. If you don't learn to work on the car and get to know the car, you can't drive the car. Great advice by you Pop!
On the 8th day God made Billy the kid !
Thank you
Outstanding pod cast Mandee. Love listening to Billy Sr. the quintessential racer from "the good old days" when racing was really racing. He is right on when discussing the old style cars compared to today's 'flash in the pan" hardware.
Loved the episode. Maybe in a future episode he can talk about the drivers he competed with especially in the modifieds, who he felt comfortable racing against, who was the dirtiest, etc.
Good idea!
Great interview. When he's back on the podcast it would be great to hear him tell about his favorite victories, favorite tracks, the races that got away, his toughest competitors and his best friends that he raced against. Thanks!!
Awesome Interview! Keep Orange Crushing It!
Awesome. Thank you!
I could listen to your dad talk racing for hours so much knowledge and one of the best to ever do it Thanks Mandee
Amazing interview love the podcast hopefully you can continue to expand the channel
Great stuff.
Wish this was longer! Could listen to him talk for hours!
Awesome interview. Loved watching Billy win 6 in a row at Fulton 200.
Great episode, i really enjoyed listening to The Kid talk about his streaks both good and bad. I think it will help alot of “drivers” if they listen, really listen to what is being said, get better. As always keep up the great work and can not wait to see what you have up next.
You know it's great conversation, when 28:34 seemed like 10 minutes 👀.
Hopefully, this Part #1 of many from "The Kid". 🏁
Thank you Billy n Mandee 🙂
It is always nice to listen to what Sr has to say! I heard at one time BP had an issue with SuperDirt series, I was wondering if he could address the issues! I just hope that is not to forward to ask! I value BP’s thoughts and advice! Thanks!
Great as always 👌
Thank you!
Love all the old racing stories. There great keep them coming!! THANK YOU🎌
Glad you like them!
I seen you race in the barker bus car in east Windsor. I was on the 117 crew. You are a great driver.

I have watch racing since the late 1960's---the KID is the BEST I have seen
He sure is amazing!
Would love to hear stories of him in the Zemco car and the speed record
Hello Mandee Mahaney Billy Pauch watching the podcast a little later then your start but as always am having fun 😆😊 and nice see you Mandee see you in the next podcast from your Airborne speedway fan
Love having you here!
Fantastic show!!!! Your Dad..."The Kid" is such a legend in racing. I could listen to him for hours and hours. I'm sure he has some funny stories to tell, if you could move him in that direction. I still think it would be great if you could have a "ladies night", with your Mom, Mike's Mom, and any other ladies from behind the scenes. Share their views on what it's like to deal with their racers, and having them gone so much. Could maybe give you a bit of insight on your future, Mandee. 😉
Great podcast....can't wait for the next one!!!
Thank you for your support Don and ideas!
As always, another great show. Is always informative hearing from Billy Sr. Is he ready for the challenge of getting BP3 started in racing?
Thank you, and we can't wait to see what BP3 can do!
Is Sr running the speedster again in 2023 or has he officially hung up the helmet? Best there ever was!
A Sprint car retrospective would be a great episode
That's a great idea, thank you John!
I love hearing the stories. How’s your trip to Nashville go. you got the world of outlaws Sprint cars announcer Love that sprint car series
The trip was amazing! Glad you enjoyed the podcast.😊
That’s good
I enjoy anything that you post on there
That's a great career record feature wins,, is he 2nd to Brett Hearns 920 wins???
As always a great podcast. Maybe you could discuss amount of hours Mike, Billy or your Father spend working on their cars. I think a lot of people would be surprised. Then there the travel time. Your Father such a great interview. Can't wait for BP3
Good idea! Glad you are enjoying the podcasts!
I only got to race with your dad 1 time at Fonda and I ended up wrecking us both . He drove jakes car that day
get your father inlaw on
The keystone 126 and the Barker Bus had Flemington hooked up! The kid knew how to get around that track without lifting and staying on line without being sideways and was a master of coming off the long back stretch into 3 and carrying that speed out of 4 staying tight right through the short chute and taking the checkered from Harry Dee like week after week after week after week after week after week after week.......
After week after week after week after week like
HOLY SHEET!
LMAO!
ILL NEVER FORGET IT BILLY!
And Blame Dave Adams for Bridgeport! It's his fault! Lol
