On the floor of the East African Rift in Kenya, there is dotted with a series of saline lakes. These saline lakes are home to myriads of East African Flamingos.
有時候，僅僅一個湖泊中的火烈鳥，就可以達到幾十萬、上百萬隻。Sometimes in just one lake, there can be hundreds of thousands or millions of flamingos.
2002年，我第一次來到肯尼亞，從空中俯瞰數以百萬計的火烈鳥聚集在湖中，內心被深深地震撼：我從未見過如此宏大的生命場景！
In 2002, I came to Kenya for the first time. Overlooking the millions of flamingos gathered in the lake, I was deeply touched: I have never seen such a grand scene of life!

They were like burning flames spreading across the lake, spurting and flowing from time to time, exhibiting the majestic power of life.

For many years afterwards, I returned repeatedly to Kenya, at different lakes, to record the different life forms of the flamingos, capturing their grand beauty.
是火烈鳥讓我意識到，世界上最美的風景，是有生命的風景。也是火烈鳥讓我愛上了肯尼亞，愛上了非洲！
It was the flamingos that made me realize that the most beautiful scenery in the world. Is the one that has life in it. And it was flamingos that made me fall in love with Kenya and Africa!
