I have a quick question! In the green room with the white French sofa that has the rolled arms, up against the bookcase, it was covered in dishes and other items the first time you came but clean the last time you were there. Is there a reason you didn’t point that out? Clearly someone was in there cleaning and removing items. That isn’t something a squatter would normally do. There is also a very creepy lack of dust through out most of the house. You would expect a lot of the Medical equipment in the office to have accumulated a heavy layer of dust over the years. There was no signs that you showed of any earthly squatters living in the upstairs level. Which makes this an even creepier video! I just found your page and have to say this house was a great find. Please stay safe!
In the medical offices, the first machine you asked about is a centrifuge for spinning blood sample tubes to separate red blood cells. The metal appliance that you were afraid to open is an autoclave for super- heating and sterilizing medical instruments such as the forceps, etc.

I had an abusive girlfriend who when she left she took most things out of my house, I didn't care, I just wanted her GONE. (I live in a pretty large home.) Anyhow she left all of her treasured family photos of her kids, her mother, her beloved deceased father. She IDOLIZED them. Of course she had kids and grandkids and I was very much involved in their lives, we were together 10 years. even though she was horrible to me and my son, we carefuuly packed up all over pictures, baby clothes from her kids, and her, stuff from her mothers purse, family bibles... there were like 4 TIGHTLY packed boxes. (Before we packed it there was a lot more but we carefully condensed it.) I let her kids know AND HER, to send $70 for UPS and I would send them and they all said.... F U. In the end they send F.U. So I threw them all away. I didn't care that she took most of my property, I can replace it, but being greedy she couldn't afford $70 or forgot the only 4 boxes that mattered. Go figure.
Omg!!! That's a beautiful mansion but what would've been interesting is to have had an e.v.p. machine to ask question and see what you could have discovered✌
@@charlottepasco8 it doesn't really matter if it was a wolf or coyote. It's still sad to such a beautiful sentient being used as decor. It's 😝 and disgusting

It’s so strange that all of the equipment is so old, but it shut down in 2012/2013?? This place was super creepy, but also a bit sad. Would love to know what the story is here!! Great find!
No joke! My neighbor has a bunch of cats and when they yowl they Do sound like babies - I have to listen closely, is that a cat or a kid?(there's young kids across the street).
How terribly sad for that person to be homeless with that child. Perhaps they took the rugs and blankets to keep warm on their journey to find other shelter accommodations. Such a beautifully large home to be left abondoned.
Totally appreciate that you take your time. Tons of items from my past throughout the house. 80's party pictures, appliances, chandeliers. This is what I grew up with. The ladies clothes are the same ones my grandmother wore, same color and pattern. I loved this video. What a shame this beautiful, almost historical home has been neglected. Hopefully a family member got those wolf rugs, yea right 😔
Me too. All the familiar objects. Even the Acorn Brown fridge with wood on the handles! The kitchen seemed too clean for somebody to not have been using it. It's so sad. If I was a grandchild, I would want to come get it all. But maybe the bank owns it.
I don't know if anyone noticed but at 10:23 when entering the house 9 months later there is what I think is a women standing in the room next to the laundry room, she turns her head to look at you. unless your dad isn't standing behind you.
Ahhh...i went back a few times to see what you said you saw and I did see it!! It looks like a person in the dark cause I think at that time Rick's dad was still standing outside the door!!!! So creepy!!!
0:29 a Conservatory very commonly found in beautiful Victorian homes. The records may indicate 1930's, but this (is) a Victorian home obvious by the architecture. I have a home listed in the records as 1930 when it was sold outside the family, but it dates to 1825 and completed in 1840 belonging to the first mayor of his community. On another note, if the land were more valuable than the mansion, than this is usually why the mansion would be torn down to build multiple cookie cutter homes.....sad.
This is such a stunning property. I really appreciate the artistic license you took with this place. The still frames and the music were very well done. Subscribed.
First I'd like to say that I really love your style. You don't say a whole lot and just film which makes it feel like the viewer is doing the exploring. Hearing someone in the building is really unnerving and have had that happen to me three times. Two of them were just small animals. The third time I was pretty sure that someone was indeed in the building with me.
1st time seeing any of your work... I am super happy you give the place back some of it's history. Without it, anybody can do this, wander through an abandoned property. I only subscribe to those who give a place back it's history, life, and dignity. So, I am liking, subscribing, and saving this video. And I wanted to say thank you for doing this the right way. The biggest problem with these places is their rooves. If the roof was at least maintained, these places would be in so much better shape. THANK YOU SO MUCH! God bless.
I know an animal shelter that could really use that x-ray machine. All of that equipment is needlessly going to waste and it drives me crazy. Btw, I hope someone buried the wolves' remains. That was disgusting.
@@RangerRickTV Nobody wants to touch that place with a ten foot pole because of all the taxes that is owed. Their children don't want any of the stuff that's in it because then they would have to deal with inheritance taxes. I wish you let your Dad take some of that china. I understand that it is curtesy to leave as is for other explorers but that stuff has to be eventually dealt with. It will be sent to the landfill with its purpose being thrown with it. If it were me, I would have taken the equipment, bullets (so nobody gets hurt), china and furniture to be donated to various shelters. Some of that is worth money but as far as I see it, the taxpayers own all that stuff since they have to flip the bill for the existing electricity and public service. This was a great video. You gained a new subscriber. : )
@@irishsakura1 I think one of those places that furnish stuff from the past to movie and TV sets would have been glad to buy all the old medical equipment to rent out for movies and shows.
Avocado green, dark brown and yellow ocher were the collest colors at the time (at the end of the 60’s, but more so in the 70’s). cool in the kitchen and on the porcelain and enamel in the bathroom... ☺️
Shame it's demolished now. It would have made a great family home with some nice period features. I would have loved to live there. Hope the items of value, like the antiques, were saved and sold or donated and not got flattened too in the process.
It really drives me nuts when people plunder these abandoned homes or graffiti nonsense everywhere. Just why it doesn't belong to you. It is incredible to me that there are still places like this virtual time capsules. Just love exploring rule of law for fellow explorers bring nothing TAKE nothing. Nice that you could share this experience with dad. I bet a lot to talk about on the way home. Thanks for sharing. 🐾🐺👍
I get angry when dirty homeless freaks move into them. They take up too much space, gross humans that can’t contribute to life that squat in homes that aren’t theirs. Hope they die alone like they are.
WOW, I totally heard the baby!!!!! That is wild, thanks so much for being brave enough to take us through such amazing properties…this house is massive!!!! And I’m really good condition
Really cool to see the old medical stuff. The whole place had a creepy vibe. Why would they have just left so much stuff behind. The bullets and shotgun shells would have creeped me out. Why would they have just been left out? Lots of unanswered questions!
I watch several channels of guys filming abandoned homes and land. What really happened to these people or their families that would inherit these beautiful, well built homes? It's like people are disappearing and no one ever questions what happens to them. I see homes for sale all over the place that are empty. Unless these homes are repos, how can people afford to move without selling their home first? Call me a conspiracy theorist but more and more strange things are happening all over the world that cannot be explained. I'm also confused as to how long these homes and properties sit vacant when many folks would be willing to fix them up and gladly take care of the land but they rot and all history is destroyed. It's truly sad to me.
This is, so far, my favorite video of this kind. I guess, being medical, I was intrigued by everything that was there in the clinic. I absolutely loved the bed and I also did hear the growl.
Lot of treasures and valuables. Lots of memories, lots of history. Such eerie and deserted energy, so sad. Def been people picking thru it as things are missing the 2nd time you went in but still so many valuables left
What Awesome explore ... But the place also has a very eerie vibe to especially when you were back by the x-ray equipment ...You picked up a voice right about the 28:00 mark ...it clearly said Papa it was a kids.. voice & sounded like a little girl ... There was 2 faces you picked up on in the window at about 35 28 ..one of them may have been your reflection but other one wasn't ... The crying baby sounds .. is pretty clear .. I can understand why it felt like you were being watched .. .. just cool place
That was an amazing place, it had so many different eras of decoration and memorabilia. Very cool, well except for the spiders and the wolf rugs. It was so sad to see wolves looking deflated and the one with the very exposed 'blood' red looking edging was the stuff of nightmares...ugh.
I suspect squatters lived in the house and trashed it. Maybe the family couldn't retrieve any family heirlooms due to the house, possibly even land, held in probate. Just my assumption on that. I do hear what I thought was a baby crying upstairs, but it's difficult to determine since there's a lot of exterior noises too. I'd just about have to had toured the house myself to get an impression of its past. It could have been a beautiful home if someone restored it.
Some of that china I recognize as Currier and Ives and some was Johnson Brothers. So beautiful. The sofa you inquired about was a simple "Camel Back" and was quite popular for that time period.
It's crazy to see someone one whole life right in front of you. I got a feeling the people that lived there just pasted away like everyone else. They had a wonderful life though.
My Dad built our home in 1959. The oven in your film may be a year or two newer. They are almost identical with our clock being in the middle instead of on the side as yours is. They run "COPPER TONE" appliances periodically but the last I recall seeing was in the late 70's to early 80's. Your fridge by comparison is of a more recent generation probably 80's, and the stove was certainly newer. Those cabinets were either replaced or refaced. I go for the complete replacement. The sofa you ask about is French Provencial.Provencal. "That thing" you asked about is a Centrifuge used in separating blood samples for testing. It is kind of an "Un-mixer" I believe that is an Autoclave used to sterilize tools of the trade. (very old school" as everything went to "one use" many many years ago. The second large cream colored appliance in the lab area was a much more modern Autoclave. Reserpine is cardiac med, carbocaine is a numbing agent probably for minor stitch ups. Most of these were so old school they would likely not have been used in years. The bottles would be nostalgia pieces for the family and many had to do with running labs. It looks like there were at least 4 generations of docs in this family. The yearbook is likely his Graduation from Med School with the men's hair parted in the middle speaks to the 1920's date. It is decorated largely in the period of the 1930's with the colors used. It is sad to see our Heritage sent up in flames so often. It is a wealthy person's game though, to try to repair and upkeep a home of that age and younger generations seem to want only the "brand new". Thank you. Great work from a retired RN.
Carbocaine,is a local anesthetic, that big steel thing, you said what is that,is a autoclave, for sterilizing instruments, great video, glad dad was with you,be safe
I was going to fill them in about the autoclaves but I saw that you already have! :) What a GREAT place they found, such fine, old books and furniture.
This makes me sad. It looks like this man was a good and caring country doctor who had the complete trust of his patients. Also i think about how long it must have taken him to acquire all that equipment. To think he’s out of practice due to taxes, according to your beginning narration. And true to the IRS they must have swooped in unannounced and escorted him out...prohibiting him or anyone else from taking any personal possessions.(all the family memorabilia) Vestages of a Country Doctor! The type of medical care we’ll never have again.
The house looks really nice and probably if it was remodeled it would be a great looking house. What really upsets me though is the wolf rug in the front it’s just pissing me off that they actually killed some poor wolf to be used as a rug that’s really what’s upsetting me here!
Shit starts to get real at 6:23. That’s when I started to hear doors opening and closing upstairs and a faint cry from a baby. I recommend listing with headphones. Also, tell me how you found my channel.
I thing for the best benefit of all abandoned places videos young people ought bring someone older to help with tips to digging up the past and understanding of those places
The sofa and the living room floor, which in the first half was cluttered with dishes and papers, is clean now, before the halls had downed lamps and such too, all cleaned up.
The shot through the old school red glass was something else. Enjoyed the filming very much. I have always had a fascination with exploring abandoned homes, used to when I was a teenager and then I got driven home by police too many times I figured I should stop. Wish I had adult friends that would explore with me now! Thanks and subscribed :)
Also I heard a faint cry at 6:39 for those who wanna put in headphones, crank the volume and decide for themselves. Scratching and stuff you hear in the first visit does definitely sound like animals, but that crying I don't know...
It seems the practice closed suddenly, otherwise they would have sold things off. The first machine you asked about was a centrifuge, the second I think was for sterilisation of instruments etc. Any medication ending in 'caine' is likely to be local anaesthetic, as in novocaine often used in dentristry.
This was so cool!! I couldn't help cracking up at your dad mumbling as he answered all your questions as you asked "whats that for" etc.. You could only make out a few of his words in the distance but he reminded me of the mumbling guy on KING OF THE HILL.I think his name was BOOMHOWER.🤣🤣
That wolf rug would have been worth a lot of money! looks like they had been sorting through glassware and stuff and that has also been cleaned out. Such a shame to see such a beautiful house left abandoned. Despite the baby sound which I could hear it otherwise has a good vibe.
The bed with the net canopy is so lovely. They were super popular if u could afford them. The bed was expensive & net canopy wasn’t cheap. The bedspread looks like maybe candlestick embroidered which would have cost a bit too. I really envied the sister of a classmate who received basically how u see that bed upon entering high school(1975)
Thank you for such a nice video, sir.Im a collector of 1970s to 90s memorbilia, tabloids and magazines. It's always a treat seeing these things in videos. Happy Thanksgiving and bless you.
Some of it looks staged to me. Also its so disappointing when you watch these videos especially one like this one with so much mystery and they dont try to get information on the places to give some ideal of what went on or sbout the people that lived there. With the owner being a doctor it looks likr it would have been easy to look up info . This is the first time i have watched in a long time. Just got discouraged from watching them because you are left high and dry at least just wanting at least a little info on the place.
I wish I own ed it. I love medical stuff to collect! I'm wanting to make my own first aide backpack! That baby was probably a baby who died there and it was sick as a lil kid or died shortly after being born !
I agree if there are names left behind of the people, investigate who they are before going through their personal possessions, that’s just respect to me!
There is a home a few miles from me where the man and woman was killed in an automobile accident the home was locked up just as they left it breakfast dishes still in the sink they say it hasn't been touched for years I guess the family wanted to leave everything the way it was.
Great video. Really enjoyed it. You can almost always tell if someone has been living of 'squatting' in an abandoned location because there will be empty food boxes/wrappers/packaging everywhere in the room where they stay. And of course there will be some obvious place where they're leaving human waste. I imagine what you heard was raccoons or some other animal roaming around upstairs because there were no obvious signs of someone having made a nest there the way you typically see in similar locations.
@@Ellecb9 ....... No I saw this video first time he posted it and there was a baby crying. It wasn't wailing. But more like was about to get cranky from sleepy or hungry. And feet were heard running across the floor. He was downstairs by the bottom of the staircase. I played it 3xs then 1 no earphones and next 2xs with stereo headphones and it was a baby.......squatters may or may not leave debris and bathroom waste behind. Someone could have been hanging out there in the day time and leave at night especially if they are in a shelter you usually have to be gone from about 8am to about 4pm. But I don't know, I just know first time he did his video I heard it too.
I have been squatting for 10 years and you won't find empty food cartons laying around my house. We don't have plumbing, but we have electricity (wiring that my boyfriend did to update the house per dte) It was built in 1924 and a lot the wiring was so old it had to be replaced.
I think the voices/baby crying & footsteps were from spirits. If homeless were there, everything breakable would be broken, the booze would be drunk(with bottles everywhere), and that bed would be slept in. If you had the right audio software, you might be able to hear their voices the 2nd time you went back.😊 Great video!👍 I get the feeling that the owners were deceased, and the relatives probably were not interested in whatever was left in the house....which some of it was worth a LOT of $$$...the China, there's probably silver, the furniture, old medical equipment & books, etc.
@@RangerRickTV Aloha Rick! If you do get one, don't use that silly "Necrophonic " app, use a SB7, or one of the custom built types like Frank has of Franko TV. Omg!!! That's a beautiful mansion but what would've been interesting is to have had an e.v.p. machine to ask question and see what you could have discovered✌
That poor wolf. Sad to see such a beautiful being used as decor
I think it was actually a coyote wasn't it the rug
@@charlottepasco8 it doesn't really matter if it was a wolf or coyote. It's still sad to such a beautiful sentient being used as decor. It's 😝 and disgusting
That was a wolf, and yes I think it's a horrible thing to do to any animal !
@@tarabrooks3760 apparently you don't know about coyotes that much .... they will sneak into your back yard and snatch a pet or farm animals and take them back to the pack then carry on all night same with young baby animals in the wild like fawns etc
Dude I worked for a lady who had taxidermy monkeys all around her house dressed as civil war soldiers
It was a bit creepy
Pretty sure who ever is occupying the house is no longer alive, but didn't want to leave...I also heard the baby crying
It’s so strange that all of the equipment is so old, but it shut down in 2012/2013?? This place was super creepy, but also a bit sad. Would love to know what the story is here!! Great find!
Yeah I thought that was weird too. Like old and new meshed together. I wanna know the story though. Where are these people?
Those red windows make it look evil. Cats can sometimes sound like a crying baby.
No joke! My neighbor has a bunch of cats and when they yowl they Do sound like babies - I have to listen closely, is that a cat or a kid?(there's young kids across the street).
That wasn't a cat here.
How terribly sad for that person to be homeless with that child. Perhaps they took the rugs and blankets to keep warm on their journey to find other shelter accommodations. Such a beautifully large home to be left abondoned.
That sofa was covered up the last time you were there
Totally appreciate that you take your time. Tons of items from my past throughout the house. 80's party pictures, appliances, chandeliers. This is what I grew up with. The ladies clothes are the same ones my grandmother wore, same color and pattern. I loved this video. What a shame this beautiful, almost historical home has been neglected. Hopefully a family member got those wolf rugs, yea right 😔
Appreciate it Mary. Yes, hopefully they did get the rugs. This is one of the most beautiful locations I saw so far.
Me too. All the familiar objects. Even the Acorn Brown fridge with wood on the handles! The kitchen seemed too clean for somebody to not have been using it. It's so sad. If I was a grandchild, I would want to come get it all. But maybe the bank owns it.
I don't know if anyone noticed but at 10:23 when entering the house 9 months later there is what I think is a women standing in the room next to the laundry room, she turns her head to look at you. unless your dad isn't standing behind you.
true
Ahhh...i went back a few times to see what you said you saw and I did see it!! It looks like a person in the dark cause I think at that time Rick's dad was still standing outside the door!!!! So creepy!!!
I don't see anything!!
Keep rewinding back , you will see someone , tall person like if their peeking . in the back room in the dark, it's so dark😬
No body was there
The color match appliances are a reminder of how stylish the kitchens can be. Back then toilet paper came in colors to match the bathroom.
I totally forgot we would color code our TP
was a beautiful house sad it was left to rot. And the old couch's wow.
I thought it was absolutely beautiful.
Furniture is hardly old but definitely pricey antiques nowadays
Yes I love he didn't talk much and love he didn't curse at all. So many of these with young men swear constantly I just can't watch them.
Ikr?? like why was it all left there?
@@karenmilligan5597 that’s another good idea! I hate waste.
That is the exact stove top and oven my grandmother still has. Original 1968 avocado green in mint condition 😂
Avocado green, dark brown and yellow ocher were the collest colors at the time (at the end of the 60’s, but more so in the 70’s). cool in the kitchen and on the porcelain and enamel in the bathroom... ☺️
Yes, when Rick said from the forties, I thought no, more like the sixties or seventies. 👍🏼

He's not old enough to remember that. Ours was this brown in our house I grew up in.
Bathroom inside of a closet is what us "high stress job" people REQUIRE! Relaxation. Stress reduction. All via quiet, enclosed space, and a tub ❤️
I Googled this and some other possible explanations are a dog bath and a water closet.
That guest house looked like it was in better condition then the main house, it could possibly be restored and updated on and actually lived in again.
Shame it's demolished now. It would have made a great family home with some nice period features.
I would have loved to live there.
Hope the items of value, like the antiques, were saved and sold or donated and not got flattened too in the process.
The house is so beautiful! So sad to see it in disrepair.
Ooo yeah bro go off
WOW, I totally heard the baby!!!!!
Lots of unanswered questions!
that is why the dishes were placed on the floor to let them know if someone entered the house like an alarm system
Thank you Sharon for the comment! Are there any other places you would like to see on this channel?
Lot of treasures and valuables. Lots of memories, lots of history. Such eerie and deserted energy, so sad. Def been people picking thru it as things are missing the 2nd time you went in but still so many valuables left
All those books and collectibles, doctors equipment is worth some money, amazing history of medicine should be given to a Museum!
The whole place is in such good shape. It would be nice if someone could buy the place and keep it from deteriorating.
Vistaril is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of anxiety, itching or hives on the skin and as preoperative sedation.
Vistaril is what im prescribed for my parkinsons tremors. A miracle drug like Ivermectin!
That is a beautiful place! The "guest house" is bigger than my house 😁
At around 39:14 there is a woman’s voice as he’s entering the basement!
That was an amazing place, it had so many different eras of decoration and memorabilia. Very cool, well except for the spiders and the wolf rugs. It was so sad to see wolves looking deflated and the one with the very exposed 'blood' red looking edging was the stuff of nightmares...ugh.
That was sad , poor wolves!
What a beautiful house. Why would someone tear it down!
My mom had a copper tone upright freezer - haven't thought about that thing in years!
Carbocaine,is a local anesthetic, that big steel thing, you said what is that,is a autoclave, for sterilizing instruments, great video, glad dad was with you,be safe

also those big forceps are for delivering babies
I was going to fill them in about the autoclaves but I saw that you already have! :) What a GREAT place they found, such fine, old books and furniture.
That might be a haunted house. Glad you're safe.
Found you in a facebook group! Thanks for sharing!
Love that depression green bathroom. Such an exquisite house, wish somebody would buy it & fix I. It would make a wonderful home
The bathtub inside the closet (upstairs room) was probably used with door open, then closed after using for concealment.
That old phone on the wall is an intercom phone to communicate within the medical offices area.
Could it just be that the place is just haunted?? That can explain noises in an abandoned old place. The house is pretty old.
This makes me sad. It looks like this man was a good and caring country doctor who had the complete trust of his patients. Also i think about how long it must have taken him to acquire all that equipment.
To think he’s out of practice due to taxes, according to your beginning narration. And true to the IRS they must have swooped in unannounced and escorted him out...prohibiting him or anyone else from taking any personal possessions.(all the family memorabilia)
Vestages of a Country Doctor!
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be greeted by a dead wolf rug when I came into someone's house!
😂😂😂

That baby crying was a bit scary. But I would have gone upstairs anyway because I'm that stubborn.

I heard the baby cry as well. The feet that sounded like animal feet could have been a dog whose nails needed to be trimmed.
I heard the baby crying when you looked up the steps. I have my headphones in. That's creepy. I'm shocked I heard it.

I thing for the best benefit of all abandoned places videos young people ought bring someone older to help with tips to digging up the past and understanding of those places
We normies would have to pay taxes on it.

The machine with the handle looks like an autoclave to sterilize medical equipment
That wolf rug would have been worth a lot of money! looks like they had been sorting through glassware and stuff and that has also been cleaned out. Such a shame to see such a beautiful house left abandoned. Despite the baby sound which I could hear it otherwise has a good vibe.
Films a bar with a bunch of keys, then discover a locked door and said damn guess we're not going to see what's inside there! Umm, yeah.
I love these places that are just untouched like they left them 👍
there were tons of things on that floor in front of couch the first time you went, and then it was all gone.

Yes the photos nicely placed on the fireplace with no thick dust..
There is a home a few miles from me where the man and woman was killed in an automobile accident the home was locked up just as they left it breakfast dishes still in the sink they say it hasn't been touched for years I guess the family wanted to leave everything the way it was.
Quite good condition not much dust ! Who goes in and leaves stuff out of cupboards?
This house is quite livable ?
It looks like someone cleaned up and removed a bunch of items before the second time you explored.
I love how you got your dad to open the cupboards! I think I would have done that too! 😂 🙈
I'm glad you liked haha.
They may have been hiding and then cleaned the place out after this guy split... Or He and his Dad took it...
