- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing a unique bombing challenge. In teams of two, one person builds a plane and the other person builds an unpowered glider. The plane has to carry to glider to 500 meters, and drop it. Then the teammate has to guide the glider to the target and explode on impact. Whoever gets closest to the center gets a point! First to 5 wins!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I love this. An idea for a multiplayer Monday, inspired by WW2 dive bombers! have one player in a boat with AA capabilities, they are the target, then have two players in a dive bomber, and then possibly the other player as an enemy plane; so that one player has to try and control the bombs and protect the aircraft from the enemy plane, and the other has to avoid the ships fire whilst getting close to the target. I actually made a dive bomber on trailmakers with a working bomb and rear gunner so it's a concept that can work! Keep up the great videos anyway guys 👍🏻

Multiplayer monday idea: do a plane thats controlled by two people
even better do it like Scrapman's old mashup videos where he cut the vehicles in half. so they build the planes not knowing what the other person is doing and then have to weld them together.

They haven't had a race in the Centrifuge map yet. It would be great if they race there and use thrusters for downforce so they stick on the side and the top.

Loving the team based challenges. Airborne jousting? two planes with a turret each, maybe some sort of delay on the gun so you could only get 1 or 2 shots off each run. feel free to add some dynamite for a little extra spice.
ooh, no, even better. the winner for each round has to add explosives to the outside of the plane.
Can you do a battle around the whole map where EVERYTHING is alowed to be the last one standing (no repairs)
Even better, you choose 4 creations (air, sea, land, and another one of said type) and once that creation is destroyed you can't use it again.

Multiplayer survival : biggest raid in 4 stage
/ stage 1 : default gun each
/ stage 2 : all gun
/ stage 3 : all gun + wall
/ stage 4 : all gun - free built = built everything you want = wall = trap = turret gun and more
Please do this again but with a little twist: Carrier aircraft is the bomber and must hits the target, the glider plane then must go through the wall of the bombed target and must land undamaged.
Uh... Who's going to tell them this actually happened in WWII...
i mean not really... there were powered flight kamikaze, and there were military gliders, and there were potentially plane dropped fighters, but there were no bombers dropping piloted explosives I think... thats a submarine thing, I believe

I don’t remember the name but the Japanese did use kamikaze gliders pulled behind bombers. This was quite obviously better as the Japanese would lose a glider instead of a plane.
You’re thinking of Baka Bombs (American name for them) a modified bomber would drop rocket powered piloted gliders filled with explosives to take out enemy naval ships. They were used near the end of the war so they never had enough time to be considered successful or not, however they were EXTREMELY deadly and you couldn’t dodge them because of how fast they were.

CHALLENGE IDEA: you can do 2v2 fighter jet like that 1 controls plane and 1 controls guns it would be epic fight and so much fun!
Please make a plane that has pitch and roll control by shifting weight forward to backward by using pistons. In trailmakers
Idea: make a rocket with a lot of dinamites that death before impact
There will be a bunch of targets as big as a car , more cars you get more points you earn
I'm surprised none of them thought to cheat the system by putting thrusters on the glider on detachable blocks to give the plane more speed and would detache when the glider detached

If you're able to divide the targets into equal pieces as in just one piece and then turn that into a perfect cube you would have a Minecraft block known as a target that activates redstone

for a next challenge - quadcopter gun fight using 1 small cannon. battle arena - in between the pillars at the dock. with a set max height. whoever goes outside the arena for more than 3 seconds - kaboom!

You should do Empire Strikes Back. One team builds AT-ATs, the other build snow speeders, and you try and take the AT-ATs out.

Day 7: Hey Scrapman in one of the small new rooms in your survival world in Scrap Mechanic, you can use it a like a bedroom. You would put your bed then a little closest in the corner for the dressbot. Then put a chest beside the bot for your garment boxes.

Make a plane with 4 seats and 1 player controls one movement. eg: 1 player controls up, 1 player controls down etc. do stunts with it.
