But see is on the water is that then always NAUTICAL miles = nm an hour or like in car on land in the states miles per hour. 90 miles an hour on land is 144,84km an hour but if she means nm an hour it is 166,68km an hour.

At 45 seconds in you can hear them purring along...briefly. It's pretty hard to record the audio of engines at 100 MPH - there's a lot of wind and vibration...
Ditch the music and let us hear the engines. I don't know why people who make videos featuring things like cars or boats with cool sound cover it up with stupid music. It's inexplicable. Put one of those fuzzy things over the microphone and keep it generally out of the high wind and you should be able to get a good recording of the engine's sound.

Unfortunately boat engine sounds do not come across so well on lavalier microphones or boom microphones, even with windscreens, aka DeadCats (the fuzzy things you mentioned). Especially with wind and movement underway. We would need to have multiple microphones "under the hood", in the engine room (or mounted on the engines), on shock mounts, in order to capture the audio properly underway, which is not generally a part of our walkthroughs and sea trials. We've done it before, and it is great when we can capture it, but it is not always feasible. That said, we note your comment, and agree we wish we could have heard these engine purr a bit more at the docks on this one. Will keep it in mind for next time!

I'm unclear about this: a 14000 lb, 3100 hp boat that goes 105 top speed? Something's not right, I think. I've seen video of boats going 180 mph with similar weight (12000) and less hp.

Someone who didn't know tried to tell me that 200 mph turbine boat would tear up Haulover. Laugh at that. Maybe on a special day but not everyday. Hauler would sink a rookie capt who didn't know better. Go back to L O T O and play with little boy toys. Midnight Express, Cigarette, Donzi deep V kinda things might not be as fast on smooth water but we don't have a lot of smooth water on the actual ocean.

1100/1350 engines and 105mph was too speed in 1100HP mode. It also depends on what the actual customer wanted as most of these boats are customer specific when built.

We often give speeds in MPH on the water, and often in knots, it's really just a matter of preference and many buyers are more familiar with MPH from driving cars so gives a better idea.

Most of them hit about 120 to 130 mph. Don't know why they only did 105. That's weird
That was on the low power setting. This boat cruises at 90.

There's no comparison between a deep V and a cat in terms of top speed
