This couple have great chemistry. Too bad for the story. The misunderstanding was never explained until the end. This story is so irritating. Hoping to see them in another drama. A well written one.

Okay, this ML is a monster. It's not just cultural differences and being cute doesn't help. Rape, physical abuse, sexual abuse, kidnapping the children away from her, torture, DROWNING her,... Over and over and over. She and the children were so much better offer with Lu Ke. RUclips and any other platform should put warning labels on this.

I cant believe they made the second male lead the bad guy at the end when he did so much for the FL, He would rather die than see her die so who are they trying to fool when they made him point the gun at her. Script writers are seriously stupid. The SML saved the FL more times the the ML has and the ML was also the cause of most her near death experiences like when he drowned her and also the time he chose gu xiao xiao to be saved when he had to pick. He also left her alone on their wedding day which is mad because she was humiliated. Not to mention he believe Gu xiao xiao's lies when she said the the FL gave up her own child to elope with another guy. I dont think they ever cleared that misunderstanding unless I just missed it. Luke deserved better he got stabbed twice for the FL and shot once for her he also got beaten up by the ML when the ML was late to save the FL which is just crazy.
I agree - I mean it would have made more sense earlier on because he definitely had a vendetta thing going on and his promotion of the FL as the mistress in the tabloids etc was as self serving as helping her at times because of her ties to his enemy (family). But by the time of the ending they had definitely showed his willingness to put her first, above the vendetta. I also just really hate that the FL made zero attempt to explain her version of events. I think even at the end ML is under the impression she gave their son up originally rather than stolen. I dislike the ML but I also feel like it was partially the FL lead's fault he kept helping the 2nd FL - goofy debt to her brother plus no complaints about her character apart from we hate each other, it's like she wanted to be misunderstood so she could be more miserable.

I feel most sorry for the kids as the so-called adults were mentally unstable. FL who is a psychiatrist or something like that is cutting herself and talking to the ghost of a woman. She never actually explain to the ML what happened to her 5 years earlier when giving birth to her twins. ML kept listening to other people and the SFL who is clearly toxic and as mentally unstable as everyone else.
The kids are the ones who pay the price for all the uncertainty surrounding them. The little boy is autistic and of course he especially can't cope with all that cr@p.
It started somewhat good: the attraction between the leads was there and don't get me wrong, the chemistry between the ML and FL was definitely there but then the story went downhill. Abuse upon abuse, kidnappings, stabbings, gunshot wounds you name it.
If the ML and FL could at least have supported each other, that would have helped a lot in this drama, but... (I'm sighing inside).
