Omg, I felt that way too last month! I know I need to take a break and do something fun for myself and take time to rest, but when I try to rest I just get so bored. I also feel like "if I'm not actively working on my business, no one is." It can be a really hard thing to balance. I feel like in the past social media has been a real soul sucker! This year I've decided to batch more content and not really follow any "rules". If you have fun while making content, I think it shows and will attract more people. I've heard a bunch of creators talking about quality over quantity when it comes to posting on social media in 2023. YOU'VE GOT THIS! 💕
I know exactly what you mean about foggy and drained. As a small business owner too, social media is hard, it’s so easy to compare, and it’s just so draining. And to feel like you ALWAYS should be doing something. I felt this on another level 💓
I love watching your day in the life of a small business owner ❤ we sometimes have those days we are only human. Take some time to acknowledge how you feel and you will get back to your normal self in no time.

Brenna, in regards to your comments about social media and just feeling kinda "blah"... I went through the same thing about two years ago. I was putting in so much effort, making reels and all kinds of content, running different groups and even a blog to try and promote my business. The worst part was I wasn't seeing the results I wanted - I was just getting burnt out and overextending myself for no reason.
I took a step back, deleted several of my social media accounts related to work, and regrouped. I decided to only publish content when I *really* felt like it, content that I could 100% be behind and show myself and my products through. And it was amazing! My followers and customers could tell a difference and they love the new, more real content, even if it comes less often and isn't staged or as aesthetic as other people's feeds.
Even though I only use Instagram and RUclips to promote my business now, I've actually seen an increase in business and customer interaction on those platforms. I love it so much, and I don't feel so stressed out about content creation anymore. I just wanted to share that with you :) We all love watching and supporting you and we don't mind if you want to take a break. We just want you to be happy! Do what's best for you and BMC!

I agree social media will have you in your feelings, especially when you put the work into it and you don’t always see the results. I get like that too. Just know I feel your pain. It’s also winter time. Time of year can give a lot of people with SAD extra down days, tiredness, focus issues etc. Season Affective Disorder. It’s a real thing. ❤

How did you market your brand. I started mine and need to get out there and showcase my products. I suck at posting great photos of my products lol. I'm trying!! But I feel that there are other ways for me to be out there and Just don't know it yet. Any suggestions and ideas??? Thank youuu
