I grew up going to the ranch right in between aerojet and this property. Used to be owned by a guy named Bud. Our cows would get through the fence and end up on his land mixed with his cows from time to time so got to ride through and gather them up. I've always wondered what that structure was up on the hill. Side note: theres a cool old farmhouse from the 1800s on that ranch (used to be called Heavens Ranch). The house is haunted but not in a super scary way. Overall that whole Woodview area is pretty creepy!
I had friends who lived near this facility, their parents were friends of engineers who helped design this place. One of their parents said this bunker goes down 16 stories into the hill, to a tunnel that transports things in and out all the way to the Barstow base.
Update! From the Facebook Group: Chino Memories-Yesterday & Today -"It's R6 one of the City of Chino Hills water reservoirs. It has a 1 million gallon capacity. It's slated to be decommissioned when the Galstian property on which it sits is developed. The Galstians will build a new R6 farther south when they develop."
I go hiking here constantly. I always thought the bunker was part of the farm below and was used to possibly slaughter animals. Heard a strange noise there one night while my friends and I were filming a "Halloween" fan film 17 years ago.
I grew up going to Heavens Ranch...that structure was actually not part of that property but part of the neighboring property...all I know is the guy that used to own that property was named Bud lol our cows used to get on his property sometimes so we would have to ride over there and gather them.
I recently just moved from that community up there. I moved in there right when they started to build homes and just moved out last year. So I was there a while. But when I was younger I would take my dirt bike up to these bunker things because they also have some in side the community that are super easy to get to. Just got to walk up a hill or if you had a dirt bike it would be faster lol but I was also go up to them when I was younger. They were very odd. Me and my friends would hope the gate and try and see if we could see inside but nothing and the door was locked for sure
My sister has liver and brain cancer from living right near here for decades. Lawsuit pending? Class action??

why didnt you fly down closer to the structure
Try driving up to it ... doubt youll get close, surprise your drone didnt get shot down
If it’s a water reservoir it may need to be checked for any evidence from previous crimes around the area
It's a water storage
Its a underground water tank I've been their many many times its not a bunker
You are correct! Thanks DD!
Did you just hike up there ? I’ve always wondered what’s up in the hills
