SGT Mitsubishi Remote Programming

Programming:
The biggest misconception with
Mitsubishi remote programming is
that the Diagnostic tool (ie; XTOOL)
is not allowing the remotes to be
programmed. The thing to remember
with Mitsubishi remote programming
on any diagnostic tool is that the Tool
only puts the car into programming
mode! The rest of the procedure is a
manual procedure.
Tips & Tricks:
1. Apart from the Triton (which is
just pressing the Lock button 3x)
Most other models have the dreaded
chicken dance where timing is
everything! We recommend the 6
second method.
6 second method whereas the steps
in the colour table are completed in
exactly 6 seconds. On Success you
will see a KD remote flash an extra
time and an original remote flash
up to 3x after releasing the Unlock
button on the final step.
2. On most Mitsubishi’s there is No
chime or validation from the vehicle
that the remote programming was a
success.
If the Remote flashed as mentioned
after the last step it is programmed
to the vehicle.
