Here is our home built DIY press break that we built to handle all of our all of our bending needs in our shop. This build took us two weeks to cut and build. We use this machine every single day in our shop in bending products for our customers.

nicest shop built brake ive seen
Man this is beyond words! Thank you for making it available for everyone at such an affordable price!
I'm making one as soon as possible.
I need it ,,how can I get the files I am ready to fabricate it...
I want to know how much all of the accessories costs to build.
What you've created here is amazing, I totally admire your cretivity and skill.
really great build quality , i especially like the use of a rack and pinion for absolute mechanical synchronisation.
this is kid rock in another universe
Nice build. When I first saw video I thought not another hack but the thought, workmanship in a limited workshop and use of full size practice is impressive 👍
Nice machine I made my own as well with a 30t bottle jack 1m wide and made it mobile on wheels and it's defo a handy thing to have around 👍
Have you thought about adding an adjustable backstop? If so I’d be curious to see what you come up with! I love the design. It’s obvious you put a lot of thought into this machine!
Great job - the rack idea is pure genius !
The rack is to small to be of any advantage with the thicker materials. the Rotary Flow Divider combined with keeping the material centered on the heavy jobs is what keeps it true.. Search Y/T for a rocker type press and you will see the synchronizing beam is 8" heavy wall pipe or even bigger
Well done neat job i made 1 out or h beams with a bolt at each end for stops but needs something like your rack to keep it parallel thats for the ideas 👍
Excellent video, thank you for sharing. Inspiring
Absolutely amazing crying out for a lick paint though😅
Thank you for the thoughtful design and thorough explaining. Have you considered getting some rust inhibitor spray for all the raw steel parts? It makes me a little sad to see such a workhorse covered in flash rust.
We actually painted the press, and gun blued all the dies recently. Much better.
Good job 👍
Great job 👍
This thing looks incredible. Any chance of some smaller sizes being available in the future?
Unfortunately no. I made this one out of necessity, so I probably won’t design another. But it probably wouldn’t be too difficult to rescale the files..
Great job! Exactly what I need in my life. What would be needed to bend .25” MS? Or no problem?
I can bend about 3’ of 1/4” using a 2” lower V. Using a wider lower V will allow me to bend more length.
Thank you sir.

Hi, in a previous post you mentioned adjusting the flow rate for bending speed. How is this accomplished ? Also where did you source your 4 way lower die ? Thanks ! Nice build !!
My pump has a flow adjustment screw in the valve body. I find my 4 way from an EBay seller, who happened to be local to me.
How are the hydraulic cylindres synchronized to ensure the ram action is always level (ie one side doesn't go lower than the other if you have uneven load like using a side instead of the center for a bend) ?

Me gusta la prensa. ¿ cuánto cuestan los planos ? ¿ cómo hago para abonarte el dinero ?
I usually bend thin metal. I want to know how quick it is going doing and up again?
It’s not too bad. It takes about 30 seconds to completely cycle. I adjusted the flow rate to what was comfortable for me while bending. Too slow and it gets boring, too fast and it’s hard to hit specific bend degrees.
Very good bro, what is the price of the file?????¿??
$75 USD.
Some of the Amazon links are out of stock do you have alternatives?
What size pump and motor are you using?
Anyone successfully did this?
I dont like your attitude
I like yours..
