There’s something really captivating for me about this young woman’s description of her work as an audio engineer, her budget, and her love of Denver. I really like how cheerful, composed, and articulate she is. I hope she is thriving as an audio engineer and in life.
I don’t know if you’ll read this Kelly but kudos to you for making a career out of something you’re passionate about.

cries as a single audio engineer in Los Angeles where rent for a room for rent is 1500+/month and more dead months than busy months. I feel like the only way to survive these days is dual incomes. At least this was a bit realistic of a series. Though I’d say 4K a month for audio work is more the good month than the bad month it could be an average, but you still gotta prepare for the bad months.

This is not a good idea of budgeting because she is actually single. If another person that’s in her same situation with no secondary income/boyfriend then it would not be the same comparison to those who are in the yield to share their finances like a married couple or to say in legal terms. Budgeting this way in not secure. She should budget her career with her own income which would result in independent control vs splitting her living expenses. If marriage is in the picture possible then that’s a different story but for now I would not rely on my boyfriend/girlfriend to provide.
