    hi
After watching your video, I purchased a solar panel and MPPT and mounted it on the roof of my trike recumbent. Thank you.
It seems like I'm using free electricity. When I go out in the afternoon, the battery is fully charged again.🤣😝🤪😜
I also made a simple installation video and uploaded it to my channel.😘

Thanks Eric. Have you experimented with reflectors, maybe something like a fold-up 3ft x 6ft silvered photography reflector with the wire frame? I have a large one that's pretty reflective and it was about $30.

I like your system - I suggest you do some test rides and get a a handle on your typical watt hour per mile usage. That number is real handy for calculating ranges and power use projections in your head while riding.

Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for a good trailer for a long time, the one I picked would have been the BoB trailer, but they don't make them anymore. Somewhere I read that they recommended the Burley trailer instead. Indeed at the moment if I'm going to buy a trailer it will be this one. What is the maximum speed allowed for this trailer? Maybe from there I will move on to solar panels :)
    Thanks

They say max speed is 15mph. I've done 35mph+ with no problems.

55 amp 48v = 2640 amp hour. Was this right? Sorry I am building a touring solar bike. Thank You.

Ty, I am a vet with RRMS (Remitting Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis), I am trying to find info on trailer build so I can bike tour. I think at this point I am looking at 3x 100watt panels. Hopefully it will be enough. Also running bbshd w/w27.5 52v amp battery. I cannot thank you for what info you have put out. Before this, I was not sure if I could even do this.
