  • Hello everybody !!!!
    Welcome back to another Ship’s Vlog.
    This Vlog, I am going to show you a Glimpse of Hospital / Medical Locker, Onboard a Cargo Ship & various guidelines that we follow for carrying Medicines & other Medical Equipments onboard.
    We don’t have Doctor’s onboard, that is why, it is necessary for us (Deck Officers) to undergo a “ Medicare Course “ in which we learn about all the basic knowledge of Medicines and Medical equipments.
    I hope you will find this Hospital Tour of a Cargo Ship informative. Take Care & Be Safe…
    Jai Hind !!!!!

    One AI assisted Doctor robot medical device like devinci would definately improve situation to all seafeares on board of Cargo , Lng , tanker etc. Ships even without medical knowleadge you will be able to do most complicated procedures , without risk of infections or worse death , plus entire ai Hospital is moveable so it can install from ship to ship .

      In this case, you have to approach the recruitment Dept of the shipping companies, on your own. Suggest you login and create account in jobships & seajobs.net and keep looking for oppurtunities. Prepare yourself for interviews.

      Yes, carriage of mobile phone is allowed.

    I have a questions. I am an author and I am trying to figure out how the amount of people on duty change. At night, are there less crew active on a cargo vessel, or is the amount of crew on duty generally the same no matter what time it is.

    • @ojusrawat
      @ojusrawat  4 года назад +1

      During Sailing, adequate safe manning of Navigation Bridge & Engine Room is always maintained, whether it is Day or Night. In Port, during Cargo operations, we follow the same procedures.

      @@ojusrawat Thank you for tanking the time to reply, if you would humor me just a little bit more, I would like to explain a little bit about the nitty gritty of what I am facing.
      So I have a main character who can fly, and he is coming onto a cargo ship to take a shipping container thats placed on the top of a stack thats carrying things it shouldnt be and throwing it overboard. Its at night, and I have already researched things like twistlocks and the like so he can properly do his job, however for what I am doing I dont want people to know that hes been there until he actually throws the container overboard.
      I am having trouble figuring out if there are people on the main deck who will be watching those stacks and would see him moving around in them. All I have been able to really find out is things about duty watches, so while I know that the critical parts of the ship like navigation and engineering will always have someone keeping an eye on them, information is far more scarce about whether people will be on the main deck at this time, and I havent been able to find any videos or articles talking about shipboard operations at night beyond the critical infrastructure. Even finding good pictures about what a cargo vessel looks like at night is hard, there arent many pictures and some are illuminated, others arent.
      Is there anything you can tell me about this time period?

    • @ojusrawat
      @ojusrawat  4 года назад +1

      During night hours, there are watch keepers and Navigating officers on Bridge(wheelhouse) keeping a safe navigation watch, and they maintain a proper lookout as well, which enables them to have a regular watch on deck.
      if the vessel is sailing, probably there won't be anybody on deck working during night hours(except any emergency) .

    How to become a ship doctor?

    • @ojusrawat
      @ojusrawat  2 года назад

      As far as commercial ships are concerned, there is Rank as such for Ship Doctor. Captain and Deck Officer takes care of the Ship's hospital or any Medical emergency on board.
      However, passenger ships do have Doctors on board
