In theory 08:59, just west of Maidenhead, but there was no obvious marker. Strangely enough, whilst crawling into Paddington, the diesel engine was audible as the pace increased, like it was never switched off. I wonder if it was diesel all the way from Reading.
@@Goonersterling I've heard it runs on Diesel power until Maidenhead because there's a speed restriction at 60 mph going under a certain bridge if the Class 800 is using the Pantograh.
