When the t-rex made it's entrance and had the classical roar the kid inside me cried with happiness. Love the video, thank you for putting so much work into it.
You can also hear her panting as she runs towards indie as she takes it all in and screams her loudest, yelling in rage at the one who murdered her family
To be honest, I wasn't really paying attention to the start of this film, but when this scene came, I swear I've never been more invested in a movie in my life.
She has descended from millions of years of evolution. She gives testament to her bloodline. Her roar is long and loud, She is old and wise, emboldened with the gift of unrelenting strength... She is the anti-hero of her new times. Long Live the Queen!
You never forget the original T. rex roar from the first Jurassic park. It sticks with me, I was hoping to see this exact roar in the film myself and I wish it had been. I guess they toned it down to make her seem older but this is amazing!
What a legendary fight. The sounds, the scenery, the music, the dinosaurs, the list goes on. This fight is just absolutely beautiful. Your resoundings were great and this fight was legendary. Fantastic job! I've almost never seen anything like this before.
Thanks ^-^ I put alot of work and love into this one. Its actually my second attempt, there was an earlier one I did for college but it was much simpler and a bit more crudely done. But yeah, I agree this scene is legendary, I cried in the theater seeing it for the first time, truth be told I was so caught up in the moment, this resound is something of a recreation of how it felt to see it, especially the slight echo of claire's "RUUUUN!" with the mournful choir in the background. I think that might have just been my brain thinking it was a dream
Someone seriously needs to consider you for hire because your resound was absolutely spectacular! I love it because it actually sounds like it's Rexy and it gives off the same effect as the original movie. Good work man, keep this up and it might take you some place.
@@TheOfficialMegalodonMobiling No, the animatronic on the first movie's set is named Roberta. Rexy is the canonical name for Jurassic Park/World's T-Rex, as confirmed by Camp Cretaceous

This video is an absolute master class in the importance of sound design in film. You took the fight from being the ambient background for some actors scurrying around, right into center stage where it belongs. Absolutely fantastic sir.
I love how when Rexy and Blue look at each other at the end, it’s like Rexy’s saying “I owe you one” And she does return the favour. Rexy becomes a blood donor for Blue in JWKF.
This is the Rexy I remember =P. You did an amazing job with this video dude. That original roar was what was missing when she smashed through the spino bones =P. The chills were crazy
Oh dear lord. This is just amazing. I re-watched the film the other night, paused it when it got to Rexy coming out of the paddock, and played this video next. And it was just perfect. Absolutely astounding work. Someone definitely needs to give you a job.
TehPadgeth agreed. I've tried my own versions of the final battle between T. rex and I Rex and it's probably just mashed up. As per the T. rex sound effects, I do quite like to blend the roars from Jurassic Fight Club and the roars from Jurassic Park into one to make the T. rex sound more intimidating. But I agree, definitely should get a job where they put badass sound effects.
Of course she would. She was an absolute wrecking ball in her prime. Sadly, that's age for ya. Still impressive she fought with such tenacity, she's supposedly really old for a T-Rex
The echo-y roar at 2:45 sends shivers down my spine - even more so after comparing it side-by-side with the original version. Also at 3:23 (was that I-Rex or Rexy?). Excellent work!
I cried watching this at home. I never got to see in theater's but this scene changed my entire perspective on the franchise. Just as great as the original. Give the voice actor for rexy a reward bruh.
You certainly made it more dramatic, when Rexy was knocked down her roars here really made it sound like she was panicking, the Raptor roars making Blue sound really angry, the Rex really sounding like she was beaten up, nice touch at the end too, well done to you👏
Yo dude, Yoooooooo. This was amazing! it is the best resound i've seen of this battle by now! 100% better than mine! Keep the awesome work for life! :D
Hey, thanks mate. Put alot of effort into it, I had wanted to see something more like this for a while. You could say its like a representation of what it felt like for me watching it for the first time, like the slight reverb when Claire screams "RUN!" cause that's how I remembered it, it was like a weird dream-like state watching the scene for the first time.
Those are virtually unaltered from the movie. I had an MP4 copy of the film with all 4 channels avaliable for editing, its how I was able to rather easilly alter some sound effects from one channel without affecting the music much. That particular part was mostly left as is, except for the T-Rex's injured howls and whatnot. Any other questions?
This is a great proof of concept! It's such a shame that the real film used so many male roars, and the exact same roar several times in different spots. The best example to me is her final scene on the helipad. You would expect her "victory roar" from the end of JP, but they just use the same roar...again...for like the third or fourth time. Eh. Anyways, cool video!
Awesome work! Now this sounds like a brawl between two ferocious meat-eaters (with Blue). Looking at the original version compared to this, the original feels like it’s having the music overpower the sound effects, but in here, it feels equally balanced and more heard out.
I think you're probably right with the music overpowering the effects in the original, I think it might be that the effects are just too subdued and feel a little low energy at times. Though in this one I actually boosted the music in a few small parts, like the choir when the gate is opening, and I raised the choir when the T-Rex is being dragged at 2:27, then right after that 2:32 the choir drops for just a moment and the instrumentation is more prominent on the last note, it just sounded more dramatic to me that way. And also when Claire yells "RUN!" I added some reverb cause I honestly remember it sounding that way in the theater the first time, I think I was just too high on the moment and tears running down my face that it just made the whole thing feel dream like but I think it sounds better that way. Almost ghostly.
Now this, THIS is more like it! Gawd I missed hearing pure Rexy roar when I first saw this movie. I can't believe I'm only just NOW discovering this resound. Well done! 😁👍
I absolutely love it! And I love you for making it that great. My inner Child was so excited to hear this Iconic Sound. Thats how Rexy is supposed to sound!! Absolutely amazing. The Scene at like 1:30 makes me cry of happiness .. ❤
Okay, the reason why her roar sound rusty is because she's old and way past her prime. Granted she's still got a lot of fight left in her, but her age still shows. This isn't the same Rexy we saw terrorize Lex and Tim from the first film.
Fantastic video. It's almost like Universal forgot all the different calls these animals had in the original films. The edits to Rexy's roars were cool, but I really liked how you made the Indominus actually sound original and intimidating. Universal could have either really emphasized that the Indominus mimicked sounds, or it could have gone with all original sounds, but it took the middle road and I don't think it worked too well.
Rexy's roars sound exactly as they should in-canon: she's far older and weathered down, her voice wouldn't be identical. But frankly I don't think anyone would care if her regular roars were in the fight like this video puts them, instead of her "tired" roars.
The only thing I don't like about this resound, is that when Rexy slams Indominus into the building at 3:30, there wasn't as much as an impact, like you don't hear the two massive bodies collide. Other than, this resound is really damn amazing. Rexy just sounds way more fierce and angry.
Awesome! Its amazing how proper sound design can really elevate a scene like this, and although I would have personally changed a sound or two here and there, this is vastly superior to what we actually got in the final film. thank you.
This scene was awesome, I know that in the movie version, there are sections of the fight where Rexy sounds the same as she did in JP1. Including the breathing and even the bits where she sounds like an elephant (I know that an elephant, an alligator and a tiger was used for her roar. Her breathing was from a whale) As for raptors, their sounds were a combination of birds of prey, swans and even turtles mating. Very well done bringing the charm that the original three movies had
Now, don't get me wrong here... this movie was awesome. But the BIGGEST and LARGEST flaw in the movie was that somehow Claire was able to outrun Rexy WITH high heels.... Because Rexy is from the first Jurassic Park, she can EASILY keep pace with a Jeep trucking along on dirt roads at 30mph.... but Claire can outrun Rexy cuz of "plot armor." I do love this movie though. It's nostalgic to see old Rexy!

Thank You.
Fun Fact: those roars used for the Indominus is from Rudy’s in Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, also I don’t think I need to tell you guys that dinosaurs don’t have the vocals to produce a roar, but due to some birds being able to mimic certain roars of animals like lions it’s possible Dinosaurs also had this ability
The only reason Rexes in the franchise seem to lose against larger carnivores, except Hidden Adventures Tarbosaurus, is because of there high levels of aggression
That to me didn't make a whole lot of sense to me I was thinking what the heck are you doing run I know that rexy wouldn't hurt her but still isn't rexys top speed at 32 miles per hour I noticed in movie she slowed down while running

Thanks to this video, i started making my own re-sound videos back in Aug 29th 2018 which i uploaded plus many more after on a different channel but then in Feb 24th 2021, i created a re-sound channel which is this one i'm using to comment and started making more of these videos and some other stuff like fan-made trailers/Tributes etc. If it wasn't for this video i wouldn't be doing these type of videos today. Thank You.
1:38 Never getd old of the way camera moved from Indo's roar.
3:36 I love the roar the Rexy made when she slammed indomonis Rex on the floor right there
1:45 my fave indomonis Rex roar
1:39 Who remembers that roar?
Rudy
The Raptor roar gives me tingles🦖 3:03
A Shrieking Roar! 🦖
3:44 Blue screaming like a child after getting tossed had me dying 😂😂😂
Fr the way she screamed sounded funny & the way she got tossed by indominus rex like that
This...Is...Amazing....
This is still one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever
At the end:
Rexy: I owe you a debt of gratitude.
Blue: Don’t mention it, your highness.
Thank you for this video, I cry almost every time that I watch this video because I love so much this the trex.
Sounds 10x better wow
I was really worried they were gonna kill the old girl.
I just know that this video will have a million likes in the future
Lmfao Rexy was like "Whats up Girl who you need eaten?"
1:22 😭😭😭that sound
What sound
devon wells oh......
@devon wells no he means that rexy roar
Rudyspino yo this is the most amazing resound that you ever made
Fun Fact: those roars used for the Indominus is from Rudy’s in Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, also I don’t think I need to tell you guys that dinosaurs don’t have the vocals to produce a roar, but due to some birds being able to mimic certain roars of animals like lions it’s possible Dinosaurs also had this ability
This is a fictional movie franchise not real life🤦
@@godzillagurus576no need to point out something someone already knows you hypocrite
@@liopleurodonthedinoman3637I dont give a shit, you moron. Trying to apply a real life to a fictional movie franchise is a dumb move.
I actually think you did a better job than the original. Was a little too loud at times but definitely was scarier experience
This is so awesome!!
Nice job on making the mosasaurus sound more alien.
Oh wait it's my new headphones... _god dammit_
The only reason Rexes in the franchise seem to lose against larger carnivores, except Hidden Adventures Tarbosaurus, is because of there high levels of aggression
Rexy: you can't win Indominus!
Indominus: this is my kingdom my Destiny!
She waited ENTIRELY TOO LONG to start running. GO, BITCH, GO!
She was trying to get Rexy's attention
Lol ,Indominus sound like rudy mom and he ifght refference!Rexy!
I agree
Matthew! You know if is :Indominus rex, stronger than spinosaurus! If he attack buck t rex, buck is ferred!
That to me didn't make a whole lot of sense to me I was thinking what the heck are you doing run I know that rexy wouldn't hurt her but still isn't rexys top speed at 32 miles per hour I noticed in movie she slowed down while running
One of the best fight scenes in movie history.
