Lol I was gonna say something! I was dying watching kinda almost realize that his whole house is pink! Made my heart melt for him. He was speechless! ❤
It doesn't come across to me as Barbie's dream house, because it's mostly a creamy/pastel pink, close to being a neutral, not a Barbie flashy pink. Also, I wish pink weren't so tightly tied to femininity--it used to be considered a masculine color, and blue used to be associated with girls.
Bailey looked so sad when she saw what she looked like in his eyes, but asa was sooo sweet. This was truly an eye opening experience to watch (no pun intended) and i am becoming more grateful for the colors of the world.
His reaction was so sweet! ❤ My brother is the same kind of color blind and this was so fascinating to see how he sees other people! Always thought about how he sees things but not people
@@Obibopbop yeah it is interesting. Honestly sometimes I feel down and like I have a bad life then simple videos like these come out and remind me I am so thankful that the world is so beautiful and I can see these colors without having to even think about it. And I have a God who loves me! I love that Bailey and Asa shared this with us
yeah i feel like she was super surprised to see what he sees and that he still considers it beautiful. but yes he seems like such a sweet guy and i believe he genuinely finds her beautiful. he can still appreciate her face shape and features, like he can appreciate the patterns in their wall decor. but i think the "rosy cheeks" comment might have been just bc he knows blush is usually pink, or that the blush bailey uses is pink. so she was like "wtf" (and i was taken aback too!) bc her cheeks looked like...yellowish orange with the colorblind filter.
@asa_howard ikr I'm so happy for you all the yrs I had been watching you when u proposed to Bailey I didn't even know you were color blind asa luv how ya hair and mustache is looking cooler btw I'm sad today and r u gonna wear your new glasses from now on asa
Or maybe it's a blessing? Like if he possibly is not be a big fan of pink (or at least not that much pink lol) then maybe it good cuz he sees it differently. Just a possibility 🙂
@@jululu_21 yes I thought it makes them 100 times MORE compatible, because he is on board with all of her pink purchases where as a lot of men would have put a stop to it haha
My dad was very colorblind - to the point where he’d have to ask if he was wearing navy blue, black, or dark grey clothing! And greens and reds? Nope! For his 75th birthday, my mom got him a pair of Enchroma sunglasses and he was so amazed at how colorful leaves on a tree were! Blades of grass were amazing to him. And rainbows had more color than he had previously known. What made this even more special is that for his 2nd career (his 1st being in the US Air Force), he cut gemstones for a living! He would constantly ask us about the hues of certain stones. Eventually, Mom got him a 2nd pair of Enchroma glasses that he could wear inside and he wore that pair for the rest of his life (he passed away a couple months after his 80th birthday). To this day, when I see a rainbow, I think of Dad and his joy at seeing all the vibrant colors. Enjoy the world of colors, Asa. May it bring you as much joy as it did my dad.
Aww this was such a sweet wholesome story to read. Than you for sharing and I pray peace for you and ur family with his loss. I pray y'all feel comfortable and support and continue to remember him in the small things
His pure joy in experiencing this just made my day! Color blindness has always fascinated me, but I love that Asa still finds ways to enjoy the world around him!❤
If y’all ever decide to have a baby, you should customize your gender reveal to use colors that he can see so that he has a genuine reaction to the surprise 😊
you can also use something not colour related at all ! Like the flavor of a cake and you have to taste if it's lemon for a boy or coconut for a girl, or having different shapes and for example if a sun is revealed it's a boy, if it's a flower it's a girl, you can also do text, objects or songs, there's many way to create a colourblind friendly gender reveal ! ^^
I love this! I love the way you talk to him about it. Not making him feel embarrassed or dumb or anything. Ik that’s just common decency but I feel like most people don’t even have enough common decency to be nice like that. I love it!
Wow this was lowkey emotional. It was so wholesome how he got excited about the fridge and the TV icons. I wish everyone had the blessing of seeing colours in their full glory. Very educational very wholesome
I didn't realize that Asa was color blind. Bailey looked so sad when she saw what he saw through Asa's eyes, but Asa was so sweet. I loved how they laughed together ❤
This was so interesting!! I never thought about the fact that people who are colorblind would see people differently. I always just thought about objects but seeing how he sees you was fascinating!!
This was so cool!! A friend has tried explaining his colorblindness to me (similar to Asa's) but being able to see the difference through the simulator is so helpful for understanding! Great job Bailey and Asa :)
So sweet to see Asa explain what he sees. I am so glad he is provided colored glasses that will help him see colors better. You can only sympathize how he sees the world… but now he’s able to see the world thru his colored filled glasses. 😊
☺️ Wholesome! It’s actually pretty beautiful to have been a rare twin, and have someone with rare connections to colors; it’s beautiful. Happy you were able to help him with this!
I felt it, when Bailey saw the picture of how Asa sees her, she was getting so sad …but Asa is so sweet and reacted very sweet also, saying she’s beautiful in both of the pictures. ❤
I’ve always wondered what it is like for people who don’t know they are colourblind and just think that’s the norm until waayyyy later down in life, I’m glad asa found out semi-earlyish even if it didn’t change much ❤💕
Yeah I have a distinct memory of having a "wear blue" day at school in middle school and I showed up in a purple shirt. I just had to pretend I forgot the theme haha
Thank you for being honest about the color blind glasses in how they don't fully work but somewhat do. There are so many hoax videos for Enchroma that make it appear that the glasses fully work haha. Love y'all!!
What a good sport Asa is! This was such a fun video! I love how amused he was walking around with the glasses on. The pure amazement of how colorful everything is in your house was so fun to witness. :)

I am also colorblind, and have tried these glasses! Anything that has natural lighting is more enhanced so the first time I went outside it was crazy - and also so overwhelming!!
I'm now walking around my house (very colorful place) looking through the colorblind simulator and being shocked by how everything looks different. This is so interesting! I always wondered what colorblindness was like and now I have a sense of it
Crazy how someone who is color blind can see! Def a lot of take for granted the beautiful difference colors we can see❤ Grateful for all different beautiful colors in the world 💖💙💜
Man had no idea he was living in Barbie’s dream house with all that pink😂
Is that why he’s got a hairdo of his own like Ken
So true! But at least that means he’s Ken? Right?
Unlike Ken he played his cards right and got the Barbie.
Lol I was gonna say something! I was dying watching kinda almost realize that his whole house is pink! Made my heart melt for him. He was speechless! ❤

loved seeing how excited Asa was with the glasses on, btw so cute how he said Bailey looked gorgeous in both versions of the photos ❤
I still think there's some blue in that rug🤔 This was so fun to make! Hopefully we helped y'all understand color vision deficiencies better!
Hi asa !
Is he going to wear those all the time now?? also love u guys and so happy for asa!!
I really wonder how you see the traffic lights? It might be a silly question but I just wonder.
