I have had a copy of the Quest Study Bible since the early 90s. It is my favorite and most enlightening Bible! PS. I have been a Christian since the 50s. I am not new to Christianity.
I bought this Bible from Amazon yesterday and it arrived in the mail today! I bought the TEAL colored Bible and it is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Q&A features. It’s so interesting and informative. I can’t stop praising this NIV Quest Study Bible!
Teal is my favorite color and I was so happy that it was available in that color.
I will be using this Bible a lot. It’s just chock full of information and answers to so many questions!

I have an older version of this bible with the light blue page edges. I am not sure it is sewn and it only has one ribbon marker. This information is basically the same except yours seems to have some extra helps. I like to use this one for reference when studying a particular passage . Yours has a much nicer font and print size. I like the darker blue also. I was not aware there was a newer edition out so thanks for bringing this to us. Nice review!

I don't own a NIV Bible. Most people I know own KJV and NKJV Bibles. ESV has its followers too. The KJV Bible is still the most popular, and most read Bible in the USA. But, to my surprise, the NIV is the second most popular, and second most read Bible, in the USA..
Later, down the road, I may consider buying an inexpensive NIV Bible, to have more translations of the Bible in my possession. That's a beautiful NIV Bible, you reviewed. One, that NIV followers would love to own..
I went to Barnes and Noble today to try and compare to see which bibles speak to me. The Women’s Study Bible, is of course on the list. However, being very new to the word, THIS Bible is going to be a must for me. I have SO many questions and I wanted to cry when I began looking through it because someone was finally able to answer them for me. There are so many beautiful bibles out there but I really needed more of a mentor-type of Bible that allows me to ponder questions because I have SO many. Such a wonderful review!! Such a wonderful Bible!

I definitely recommend this one for anyone and especially for those who are new to the Bible and are filled with questions because it has so many and you can get lost in it for hours. I bought this Bible for my brother a long time ago when he was a new Christian. I thought the question and answer format of commentary was very helpful and a test idea. Unfortunately he never took the time to read it and he walked away from the Lord :(

He’s moving to Michigan soon to work with and live with his [christian] father for a while to save up money until he’s able to rent his own place. Please keep praying for him that he will get saved while living his this dad and step-mom for a while.

Now this is an extremely amazing Bible. It's beautiful, I love everything about bar the translation 😁. Put this in NKJV or NASB and I'm getting it. Absolutely fantastic Bible. The leathersoft looks like genuine leather and is does look art gilt. The colours are great, the layout is super and the charts are very good. No red letter for the words of Jesus, which for me is the way it should be. Zondervan are making some very awesome bibles and the designs are just super. I love this Bible, I just can't get around to liking the NIV.
P.S. The recovered Bible with one of your husband's old shirts that just cracked me up. That way you have a bit of him and the word of God with you everytime you use that Bible. 😄😄😄. That's awesome too, especially when we are living in a time when the enemy is trying to destroy marriages and the family. Thumbs up for that 👍

I got this Bible in personal size teal index. I love the NIV translation.
I have an old copy of this one with a hideously colored cover that was from the 90s and the design is just too much. I’d love to recover it like you did with that one. That would be much simpler than trying to use leather. Do you have a tutorial about that? Thank you for another in depth review 🌹

Wish there was a large print version. But I understand that it would make this already packed bible even bigger and heavier to carry.
I agree, I am a fan of a large font. This size is pretty portable so if they did do a large print it probably wouldn’t be too huge but would probably be thick like the new large print life application study Bible which I just got and it’s 2 1/2” thick which I don’t mind cause I usually use study Bibles at home. But it’s nice having a more readable font. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Love all your reviews. Thank you for all them. I am looking at getting a NIV study bible. Been a while since I have actually read and understood scripture and chapters. Want to get some clarity and better understanding if that makes sense. I have listed a few of the ones I am looking at . If anyone has any opinions on any of these, I would greatly appreciate it.

I love the NIV, CSB, KJV, NASB. NKJV too. Between the ESV and the NASB, the NASB is most accurate. This one woman I know of, has a degree in Theology and she uses the NIV. I am amateur home scholar of theology and like the CSB. The NLT is good for someone to read alongside a formal version.
I don't like the huge question marks in side columns, very distracting and unnecessary.
Yes they’re a bit large! I think they could have made them smaller but they don’t bother me after a few minutes and then I don’t really notice them as much.
QUESTION: Do they have this in the NIV 1984 Edition? Thanks for sharing.
I'm hunting down a non-biased Study Bible. Do you think this is nb? I've been soaked in Reformed Theology (Calvinism) for 2 years so now I'm looking for some non-influenced resources (if that's even possible). Thank you for the review

Yes this one is the 2019 edition and it is a great Bible! I also have the older edition and I prefer this one over the older ones. It is a neat Bible. They did a great job on this one and the color layout inside is easy on my eyes. I really like it and I hope that you like yours once it arrives.
