I purchased the original Mamba 10. Put in a 3542 1000kv. I had to use 10mm standoffs. 12 x 6 ApcE on a 4s 2200 45c pack. It has more power than the 6s version. It's a beast. What an incredible plane
The main advantage of these 6s systems is run times, 4s systems will have similar power but not as much run time

@@alwaysflying6540 yup and some people think 6s rawpower is bs but it isn't they actually need to understand the equation and all that and how it isn't actually increasing weight

How far behind the recommended CG is this plane balanced? I have my Mamba 60E behind the recommended CG but it may need to go further back.
It is balanced on the recommended CG, as we fly most all of our aircraft.
I was right it was the Mamba 10!

I have the G1 I wonder if a ESC upgrade is in order...id like to at least have 4s and longer flight times....any suggestions?
If you want to go to 4S on the G1, you just need to do a motor swap to the 1020kv motor. No ESC or prop change required.

No, WAY too big/heavy. That flight was done on a 6S 1500mAh 45C. 1800mAh is the max size.

On Pop-Top, planes seems to have insufficient mass/energy. Wouldn't distributing the mass from center to the circumference help (mass seems to be concentrated on the center portion of the plane)
Is there a fix for the ESC issue on this plane? Once again, I have one that throttles up when the throttle lock is turned on. I have followed the manual step by step and have never had any other electric planes do this. It can be very dangerous.
Sounds like your throttle cut mix is backwards.
