On a positive note, Alcaraz looks class
Yes
Great highlights, like your commentator. Stressful game to listen to on the radio 😅 Can’t wait for the second leg, should be a right battle. Used to have a Southampton shirt when I was 7 running around Tyneside 😂😂😂 I liked Keegan because he had the same name as me and I once visited a very sunny Dell on my holidays. Still like the Soton logo 😂😂😂Remember my Panini sticker album with the likes of David Armstrong, Reuben Agboola, Steve Baker and Steve Moran. Awesome.
Definetly looking harder to beat. Alcaraz looked great ,so did Mara. Just need that new striker 🔴🔴⚪⚪
We are completely done if we don’t sign a prem / European proven striker
Pienso igual, les falta un goleador
@@rokelns9902 básicamente necesitamos a alguien para reemplazar a Danny Ings
Alcaraz is magic!!
Commentator -oh my god you can see the monsterous hand 😂😂 on Southampton goal(var)
The commentator needs to learn how to pronounce Joelinton! 😂
He is American
@@severionyamaropa5615 Jo Tessem is Norwegian
You can blame Ralph or Jones because of the results but without a decent striker, nobody could stay up with this team.
Che had an open goal chance with 0-0 standing not the first time this season. But he never converts it and after we always concede a goal. I don't want to blame him because he is the only one who can create chances but It's really annoying.
With a good striker we would be above the bottom 3
I can't see we can turn it in the second leg but it isn't our biggest problem now
Sounds like the commentator is saying 'Joe-wellington' 😂
That Isak is fast.
We're still in it!
Going down with a performance like that - think 3-0 at Newcastle second leg.
Doubt well beat them 3-0.If we can get it to penalties I'll be happy
@@dwaynetaylor1575 heck if you can score at all against Newcastle you should be happy
Sorry 3-0 Newcastle …did i not say lol
How they both think Adams didn’t do anything wrong with the one on one shot I do not know, the amount of big chances and 1 on 1’s he has had and bottled since joining us is disgraceful
I'm also baffled. He just literally passed the ball to Pope
He just isn’t a great striker. Our midfielders would do better one on one with a keeper.
Newcastle should have been out of sight in this tie if they had their shooting boots on.
Almiron was having fun
Announce the New striker.Weve been waiting 18months
That well known player "Jo Ellington"
Joel Inton
Billy Jo-ell
Pope the wall of newcastle
Isak turning Caleta like a sack of potatoes 🤣🤣🤣
Must say Necastle is in a great form this season
i cant agree more as a manu fan we only beat them 1-0 i expected more
Tune tune black and white Army 😂🏁
united fan here PLEASE WIN YOUR NEXT LEG
They might grab it if they keep this momentum. Will be waiting for them. They have been playing brilliantly of late
Cracking game I thought. Southampton really picking up now no doubt they’ll stay up as usual 👊🏻 very impressed with alcaraz and KWP as usual.
Also I thought both var decisions were very harsh. Not a lot both the players can do 😭 balanced I suppose 😭
Rules are rules sadly. Whenever attacking player touches the ball with his hand in any way before scoring, the goal can't be allowed. Not much that VAR could have done differently. What a game though.
@@janmartinak9493 I wouldn’t have said it was clear and obvious, which is what VAR is supposed to be for. What they need to be asking is not was there a foul, but was there a foul that the officials ought to have spotted?
But Newcastles foul was disallowed by referee not VAR, both similar level fouls so it was probably fair in this instance.
this aged well /:
pope is holy
Tidak beruntung ,tapi kalian dah berjuang semoga pertandingan selanjutnya lebih baik
Some keeper that nick pope is
Southhampton middle looks horrible.
And strikes they took, they should not be taking.
nhà giàu new năm năm đá cháy quá nhỉ
nice game!
Adams not good enough.
Jesus man as a Newcastle fan can we please get a striker that can hit on target
We have one and his name is Isak. He just isn't starting for some reason.
Amiron his a talented left winger.
Who's this Joe Ellington the commentator keeps talking about!
Adams is not a serious player. The kind of goals he misses I really wonder.
Car wasn’t last man. Not a second yellow for me. What else could he do ?
being last man is an instant red. so dont know why not being last man means its not a yellow, what can he do ?.. track the man and not trip him... maybe.
@@plamerj1234 lol Maxim clearly sent him on an errand for that, his leg naturally sticks out for the ball, he can’t even not foul him cos it’s instinct to put the leg out cos you’ve been wrong footed. Maybe the ref could’ve been more understanding there. No malice on that tackle whatsoever
@@anythingdotcom483 because its instinct doesnt mean its in the rules. still a 2nd yellow
@@plamerj1234 ah, if everything was by the rules it the game wouldn’t be fun. The ref has to be in player’s shoes and very subjective sometimes . I think it’s a clear foul and a card but seeing as he’s already on a yellow he can let it slide and the player wasn’t the last man. He just chose not to give him a break.
VAR is ridiculous, nothing wrong with the Southampton goal.
apart from the fact he punched it into his knee
so is joelinton's goal
Or Joelintons first one.
Shooting Stars match😂😂
bruh isaak came from la liga and doing bits already 💀 this league is piss poor
Almiron is something. He should have had two assists.
I think southampton were just unlucky .......
im annoyed Adams goal should of counted as his hand was in a natural Poisson
That sounds fishy
not the rules of the game but ok.
joelinton's goal should also stand
Pope got the ball and follows through, rightly no foul. Joe linton got the ball and follows through, goal disallowed 🙄
It was disallowed for handball clearly
🇨🇻🇨🇻
Just Remember Adam Amstrong & Joelinton Dissalowed Goal After VAR. Southampton Defeat Against Newcastle United In The St'Mary Stadium.
And the disallowed Joelinton goal
Love your commentator. Can't stand watching NUFC highlights (and I'm a Newcastle fan) as their commentary team are so biased. Nice to have some objectivity on a team channel.
Rubbish
This commentator saying that he could not see a handball when his mate could is not bias?
I am a United fan but Soton may go thru to the final. We will be waiting for you guys. Very good display indeed
I look forward to it. Last time we drew 3-3 at Wembley, great day out.
Get the manager out he doesn't know what to do with these players. Che Adams isn't good enough he gets the positions and never puts it away even in 1on1s. Lyanco is sloppy he tries but he makes easy mistakes. Diallo is definitely not good enough for the prem.
Really he's had barely any time at all 😂
The manager is decent the team itself isn’t up to scratch, you can see the football he is trying to get southampton to play but they aren’t good enough to play it, its not fifa you can’t change a club overnight
Enjoy relegation church mice😊
08:15 That was not a handball. VAR decisions like this are ruining the game.
Even as a saints fan, we got lucky on that one, shouldn’t of been disallowed
We got a goal disallowed where it didn’t touch his hand, you got a goal disallowed where it blatantly hit his hand, and YOU are complaining?
@@MathsDebated " Handball is given when the player has their hand in an unnatural position when the ball strikes it." I don't think the hand was in an unnatural position. No comment on the other disallowed goal, the two incidents are separate.
@@64-Bit-Gamer Riiiight. According to IFAB law 12, there are five explicitly mentioned reasons why handling a ball would be considered a foul, one of which is if the handling of the ball, even accidentally, directly causes a goal. Maybe put your bias aside and just accept that you were deservedly beaten?
Both goals disallowed, both involved ball making contact with hand/arm, both decisions were correct. The rule itself is stupid though, in that the interpretation of handball varies depending on who handled it and what is taking place. Neither of those would have been penalties if they were done by a defending team.
