Cool simple solution
Good tips - thanks !
Thank you!
Dope video thank you for posting! I’m in much need of an inverter upgrade and this mod.
Thank you!
What about 125v outlets? Same way?
You will only get what your inverter and receptacle outlets are capable/rated for providing and want to ensure they’re rated appropriately for safety reasons. 120v outlets are typically 15 amps, some 20 amps. A 125v outlets would be for larger kitchen appliances and rated for 20+ amps typically.
Hey great vid, just have a quick question. In your earlier vid about the wood stove, you linked a 5kw diesel heater. Does that mean you need a 5000-6000 watt inverter to run this heater? Thanks!
Evan O'Shea hey Evan thanks! No, it’s just the sizing for the unit. The 5kw draws about 8 amps at start up and shut down and about 0.8-2.5 amps during operation. It’s very fuel and electric efficient
Boris The Boxvan awesome! Thanks for replying my man
Evan O'Shea you got it man
Looks good! Did you make the outlet trim out of wood?
Andrew Oakeson thank you, yes just some wood trim
